What could have made my teenage son interested in sex at his age when he should be serious with his studies? He is 14-years-old and in SS1. This is a boy brought up in a good Christian home. Maybe the mistake was the laptop his dad bought for him. We had thought it will aid him in his studies but he is using it for something that could destroy his future. I’m so sad about it. That night, I was hearing some sound from his room around 11PM and I could understand what it meant. So I tip-toed to his room and saw him engrossed in the porn movies he was watching. I was so furious; I beat him and seized his laptop. I later got to know he was introduced to porn by a class-mate of his. I told him I’m changing his school. He has been begging me not to tell his dad when he returns from his trip but I feel his father should be aware of the whole thing. Parents out there, how can I check this situation?

E is passing 2ru a stage in his lyf, u did d ryt tin by spanking him no need 2 tell his Dad cus he might jst do worst n trust me u dnt wnt dat 2 hapn. Whatever he's doing now is out of curiosity, it's the age. And you have to understand that

They should be some sort of male figure in his life; a father, an uncle, big brother, an older friend (browda), grandpa or even a witty aunt that could help you talk to him about sex in general, but if you can handle it; do it!

Tell him it is not the right time to experiment with that skin dangling in between his legs as that is not what makes him a man..... What makes him a man is being able to defend himself intellectually and physically among his peers and being able to protect what ever is put in his care

Since he's already a good Christian boy, he knows what the bible says already; spare him that, rather give him practical ways to deal with lust and the benefits it brings afterwards. You can as well ask him to study the life of Joseph for instance.

Btw; I recommend this book to you "Modern Parents, Vintage values" by Melissa Trevathan & Sissy Goff.
