Is it me or does the Ooni resemble Amechi Muonagor of Nollywood fame! Rip.

Ooni, my most respected Oba, the calm & amiable king with wisdom. Gentle yet commands, I hail you!

Now gone, the Oba of the land from which my clan has its ancient origin. Well, you are human nonetheless and the Highest, the Almighty, Kings of kings and Ruler of the Heavens and all of the Earth has called you home. Adieu!..

How does the ife case affects announcement of the death of Oba of Benin or the crowning of new Oba? Though i know kingship of the Benin and other Yoruba Obas are connected, but i don't think that should affect the announcement and crowning of Oba.
If i may ask, how come you know enough of this traditional issues, are u really a female? Cuz virtually all the females we know and meet are empty headed, the only assets they have is their body. I wouldn't mind knowing you, infact having you as a friend

I didn't look at the monicker clearly to see that it a "m" and not a"f" since the monicker "sweetgala" sounds womanish...i was surprised that a woman would have that level of knowledge of unmundane issue as traditional/palace issues. I'm a guy, I happen to be from the ife royal house. And in recent history my family patriarch has been Ooni.

I believe the Ife and Benin kingdom are interconnected and even the enthronement of the Ooni requires the *consent of the oba of Benin. I doubt the Benin chiefs would be able to announce the situation of the omo n'oba n'edo even if ill, because to have an empty Ife and Benin throne would create a complex situation

When the oba is selected the Oba of Benin is updated on the situation, and he is part of the coronation process. And when an Oba is elected in Benin some emissaries from Ife are involved

At the second emboldened, it is actually the other way around. The Benin throne requires confirmation from Ife throne, just like it is with Oyo.
