There was also a deposit of 300dirhams. pls house, what do u thin?

I have to commend you guys for a job well done. But then,the mentioning of this Primaver 6 course by DrDre1 caught my attention and i check google for where the course is being offered in Nigeria with price tag of #165k which i think is quite on the high side. My question is, is it possible to do self learning for the course and be able to get it well enough? Secondly, i am having an average knowledge of SAGE Pastel software as a warehouse man. Is there prospect for this around UAE?

Lol...your username is a good insurance for you . I'd heard/seen the word 'Primavera' about 10 years ago if I'm not mistaken but I didn't do any exploration on it. I just assumed it was a software used by people in architects and construction engineers. I was right to that point but I was also wrong because I didn't make good use of that knowledge by digging deep. Why am I saying this? Don't pass on anything that can add good value to you. I agree that 165k sounds high but how is it high compared to the opportunities it will bring you? It's not as expensive here actually. The course costs between 1500-2000 riyals depending on where you take it and your negotiating skills. Even then, when you have start earning 500k, 750k and more in a month, you won't remember that at all. The course is just to give you a foundation knowledge. You can't be an expert in the software within the duration of the course. You have to find time to watch Youtube videos and read other materials. The good thing is that you don't even need up to 30% knowledge of the software to land a good offer.

Now to what you said you already have knowledge of. It's good you have a good knowledge of something like this. There's a good mix of accounting in Primavera too as you have to generate, calculate, assign and monitor costs of materials, manpower, equipments and other resources. That said, you can also choose to develop yourself in SAP. That's another high level software expertise that's real hot in the market. It's more expensive to learn and build on from the little knowledge I have on it but I know at least one person who earns crazy wages/benefits from it in the middle east. Just to give you an idea, he could afford to rent a Ferrari/Lamborghini (can't remember the exact one) out of boredom

The bottom line of my long 'epistle' is that nothing that develops you is too expensive. Build on whatever knowledge you can because you don't know when it will come in handy

I understand every point you made sir. Makes you feel like just packing your bags and leave really most times. The YouTube isn't as easy as it sounds because you will need the foundation knowledge to even know what to search for. There's also a sequence of learning the software and the lectures/training would guide you in a way through that. You will find tons of videos on YouTube but if you can afford it, it's better to go for the training also. I don't know about SAGE ERP but I'm very sure of the prospects of SAP in these parts. The person I know about was doing something related to supply chain management with it at the time. You can also check job sites in the middle east to even see the salaries range for these positions. Yes he did...he used to complain of nothing to really spend the money in his location.

It is not really like that. Emirates Airlines charges 800 aed for 3 months single entry visa even though it is difficult to get since you need someone in the uae to process it...i was just trying to tell the guy who posted that he can spend less and get more on his own

It is possible in nigeria too, if you have the complete requirements. Visit dubaivisa.net, the cost of 3months single entry visa $188, the only issue is that you most get all the requirements handy.

The problem is that too may people get a visa through a friend, then do not exit on time.
The friend has to explain this to officials and has a fine to pay.

i dunno much about the job stratosphere here. but i think nurses first den extremely qualified people who r relevant to the business and daily happenings in UAE. Like if you really want a good job you need to be qualified. the indians are everywhere and then the filipinos. plus nigerians av a bad rap here so u can see what u are up against when coming here. i think for dubizzle users they should focus on sales and nursing there but beware so many indians here are running fake job scams and they hv palatable formats that will mk u jonz.

if u r very good in IT then u can go to Dubai oasis or is it silicon oasis and try..dunno d exact name of the place but its a central hub for IT
