When people look for cheap publicity like you i tend to just let them because i end up publicizing RETARDS .But to set the record straight I spent my 5yrs with students of that dept cuz we are in the same faculty...And let me school you on how questions are asked.."Has civil Engineering dept ever produced a first class??".Through how you put down your lines i can see you are still a jambite but work hard so you can get admitted and try harder to cross over to your department before been so inquisitive..And please i hate seeing your mention on my handle SLOWPOKE.

This is a big indictment on the University and its lecturers that no student has had first class in this field after all these years.

Education is not meant to be difficult but meant to be relevant. If you take some of the students from the past who didnt make first class and put them in Harvard, Oxford or London Business School, you will be shocked that they will make first class effortlessly. Does that then mean Unilorin is better than harvard ? we celebrate/rank a school by how difficult it is to make first class or pass rather than the ease at which knowledge is passed and the relevance/application of the knowledge.

Congrats to the four students who made the first class.

The department of economics university of Ilorin was created in 1978 that is 3yrs after the establishment of the school. Since then department of economics has recorded no first class graduate due to some reason. Buh now God don win ooo with four first class. We have department that is yet to produce first class graduate they are sociology and political science they hardy had 2 1

The year (2009) I graduated, the faculty, Engineering, only had 3 1st class, 2 from electrical, 1 from Mechanical, 0 from Civil and 0 from Agric. Now, I learnt that Civil produced like 4 or 5 last year...

Before I grad, no soul ever had 1st class... Buh now, dem sey na Pure water
