Listening to the news this morn on the Radio got me angry about the seemingly immature and pathetic decision of the Ogun State government. Couldn't they figure out the comprehension passage was directed to the general rot in the education sector where over 60% failed English Language in the just concluded WASSCE? This hypocrisy by Amosun is of the highest level and he should stop behaving like an emperor. Governance shouldn't be about making those who are critical of your government scapegoat but generating the courage to learn from their positions. |

But on the other way, these teachers did not act with wisdom. Why risking your job because of your view about the current administration? are there no other platforms for them to express their views apart from state owned educational platform? How many WAEC/SSCE essay write up has been critic of federal government handling of educational management which has never been even up to 70%? The fact is that one has to act with wisdom in handling criticism. I'm not supporting the sack melted out to them, but none of us here will overlook such act if we are lucky to be a governor. Criticize, but be wise, judge your action before it's assessed by the authority as long as you are still on the pay roll of the organization. Using the state owned platform for such criticism will be seen as opposition sponsored arrangement no matter what. Let's always act with wisdom. |

Cry my beloved Country! What does this Governors and government are turning to?We force our teachers to tell lies and teach same to our children then we go back to criticise the system. How else do want a teacher to train a child than to build him/her on truth and nothing but the truth. Teachers are not praise singers but what are we seeing in Ondo State with all what heard since when we were kids that Yorubas were the fathers of education. No wonder the children of rich turns out to be bad despite been trained in best schools because they were told lies and fed lies at their homes. Nigeria is sick, it feels like throwing up! |

it is surprising that when people want to comment they don't first read and analysis issue. The comprehension passage in question, what is the advantage of it to the pupils? what is the reason why the exeaminer and the board agreed to used it as exam question by putting up such comprehension. Even this is not comprehension for secondary school at. Let me ask the examiner does he want to rubbish the government in mind of the pupil or he/she want them to understand why they were not train properly. I can say that both the board and the examiner were quilt of the offense. if they want government to do something about the issues they raised; they know the right channel to go about it not by putting it on question page for pupil to summarise. What I can conclude in this matter is that the examiner and the board what to create confusion in the state by putting that comprehension. In other word what is the level of the pupil to digest such article. the English structure is higher in character for pupil to understand. |

EVEN FROM THE WRITE UP OGUN STATE WAS NOT MENTIONED. THE WRITER WTOTE THAT A STATE IN NIGERIA. NO FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION TO SAY THE TRUTH. THEY ONLY SHOUT PROGRESSIVE BUT FROM THEIR ACTIONS THEY ARE RETROGRESSIVE. INSTEAD FOR HIM TO RECTIFY THE OBSERVED LAPSES HE IS ADDING MORE. THE PARENTS OF STUDENTS IN JSS 1 & SSS 1 SHOULD SPEAK OUT IF THEIR WARDS BRING HOME THE REPORT CARD FOR THIS SEASON. NO BECAUSE THEY ARE BEING DECEIVED WITH FREE EDUCATION. |

Kimoni:Amosu must have been taking cheap crack lately to come up with this type of moronic decision. The people sacked are senior government officials, I expect them to push this case to the Supreme court if the lower courts appear to deliver inhumane judgement. This is where I expect all these noise-maker lawyers to talk but they will keep mum. When this case is given proper publicity, Ogun state government will end up denying original reason for the sack with a fabricated story to save face. |

themaskedman:Mr. man, stop foaming. Can you be working in a radio station and still be using the medium to complain about how and what your Director/CEO is doing bad for your radio signal to be abysmal? Can you be working in AIT and use your programme hour to be complaining about what Dokpesi is doing bad. Be sincere, if you are the governor, can you tolerate that act. The teachers can never try that act with OGD, I'm very sure. It is a good thing done without wisdom and carefulness. @maskedman, can you try that at your workplace? |

Those teachers must be the agent of oppositions. How can you go ahead and use an article from opposition as the exam question and you still want to keep your job. I'm not supporting their sack, but, honestly they have acted foolishly. |

We can bombard all these people that claim to fight for populace with complaints. This is the handle of Human Right Commission @chairmanNHR Also, this is Keyamo's handle @fkeyamo. Let's force these people to talk now or we assume they're ass-lickers seeking to get favour under the pretence of fighting for human rights. |
