Wrong decision, especially when the passage is factual and was culled from a news report.

All teachers in the country should embark on an indefinite industrial action until those officials in Ogun state are called back to work. They should be paid compensation and a letter of apology issued to them.

What is the nation turning into? The comprehension was culled from an article which is no offence. Must be the stated obvious truth staring them in the face which they should learn from but chose to sack true educationist from thier source of livelihood. What a shame to democracy and A total disgrace to change. Are the schools not supposed to be paid running expenses? Are the students not supposed to be assessed at the end of each term? God will so judge the wicked souls destroying the future of this nation. They are practically ruining the system simply came they care more about ways to loot the system than truly offer good dividends of democracy to the masses.

Really crazy, dis same Amosun has not been functional ever since he got back into office, abadoned projects everywhere, dis is total wickedness and he should be brought out off that office cos he has failed the people of ogun state, he's just nothing different from the ex gbenga Daniel , dis same Amosun ordered demolition of houses in alagbole, akute, agbado and environs without compensation and yet he has abadoned all the project leaving people in dead faith with his stupid countless irrelevant bridges.. Heaven will disgrace him from that office. He would be made to suffer for his evil deeds against those defenceless people. Those lawyers suing Buhari for no just cause, this is a call to duty. We want to read that multiple suits are being filed against Amosun and his govt.

THIS IS UNCALLED FOR

There is no arguing about the fact
that the government is merely paying lip service to the
development of education. It is true that a lot of money is
being spent on the education sector but with little or no
impact felt by the people, except where we want to deceive
ourselves.

Without consultation I knew was done by an APC pro dullard! Imagine* so no freedom of expression and speech again

Nigerians come and see the change you guys voted for ooo* am very sure the silly governor out of stupendous act as rendered those innocent and well trained pioneers to something else , and am sure their bread winners in their various families. Those sacked should be reinstated so that they may not do something outrageous.

Every onlooker is either a coward or a betrayal, if there is anyway somebody can publish the reaction of NLanders, pls do that in the national dailies for him to know that he is drowning.

Due process? Of what? This is absolute rubbish and the governor and his advisers should go and hide their faces in shame.
If the issues raised in the 'comprehension' are true, the government should have reacted by positively addressing them in the form of proferring solutions and not their cowardly action of sacking the officials.
Any government that is too full of itself that it does not welcome positive criticisms is definitely headed to the rocks.

Education is key to development... Kudos to teachers in Ogun State for stating d obvious in education sector not only in Ogun State but in Nigeria State. Rascality in governance is being displayed by Governor Amosu who suppose to be progressive minded but decided to throw caution to d wind. I urge NUT at State and National to head to court because an injustice to one is an injustice to all. The question is meant for students preparation for WAEC&NECO.Government should stop politicizing d future of our students.

The teachers should challenge this action in a Law Court.
Law Court? They should go on strike. I believe it would be more effective.

There exist no way in law, to determine by summary dismissal an employment which enjoys statutory flavour. What does that HOS mean that rules were followed to the letter. There are always loopholes, those civil servants would get a reinstatement order at most courts (see the case of Olaniyan V Unilag, Shitta-bey V FCSC). Even if Amosun wins at High court and Appeal court, he surely lose at supreme court. I wish we can actually see the words used in the correspondence to this effect. They'll surely be reinstated, education is liberal. In a PhD seminar some years back a candidate was asked to represent at a later date because he fail to be critical about the theory propounded by is adviser.
