My guy, I would recommend you go find someone off this thread to truly sponsor you. Also, posts of this nature can jeopardize the future applications of Nigerian students. In addition, I noticed that you posted your TRV denial document in one of your posts (June 18th post) with your full name and address visible. You do realize that any Canada VO (or any of their interns hired to scour threads like this for Naija applicant tricks) that stumbles upon this thread would blacklist any future visa application from you, right?

thanks man

Hmmm... so I decided to run from here because of the pressures and especially refusals after medical exam saga towards the end of last month. But unfortunately I didn't escape it.
Submission date: 30th June
Medical call: 15th July
Medical assessment: 17th July
Date refused: 28th July
Dispatch mail: 3rd August
Passport pass back: 10th August
Reason: insufficient fund.
Please don't be discouraged to apply by my visa refusal, it was my error not theirs.
Cheers!

So sorry to hear this bro..Still will like to see you in MUN. Have you made attempt to defer your admission until January?

Continuation of the previous post:
Sponsor finances were about the same in both applications, the major difference was that in the second application $40k CAD was transferred to university student account of applicant, Affidavit of Support was notarized, bank statements used were originals, applicant included her own financial documents, and a one-page Letter of Clarification summarizing the finances was included. Note that the Letter of Clarification had a section titled "Reasons for Prior Refusal" and another titled "Substantive Changes in This Application".

Also, in the second application, for total "Funds Available For Your Stay" we stated $88k CAD (36k+36k+N2.5m), while in the first app we had stated $36k. The $88k CAD is a total of the sponsor's promised funds for two years, plus the applicant's own total finances.

Hi guys, please I need your help. I need to apply for visa soon and I'm having problems with the "strong home ties" aspect.

Now,it is compulsory that my proof of strong home ties has to do with properties? If yes,can a survey plan of the land be sufficient? I haven't done and it may take some time. I have two buses which I use for business, can I use this and how? What other way can I show "strong home "

You are fine with survey plan. "Strong home tie" is broad. It starts from the passion you have for your intending course, why you want it, and it's benefits. All these should be detailed in your questionaire and SOP. Your immediate family and properties are also not left out. Do you have your business registered? I guess income from these buses goes into an account?

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by TheBae: 1:31pm On Aug 15, 2015
Take advantage of your close family members here and use them as home tie. If you can get the survey plan or deed of assignment, that'd be good. Like Joe said, if you have a registration document for your business, great. If you don't, show receipts and maybe take pictures of your place of business. If you work for someone, add your employment letter, if you have been in that company long enough, get a study leave letter (don't get that if you just started working there, it's ridiculously unrealistic) but you can get a reference letter from your employer stating that your performance is outstanding and he won't hesitate to take you back after you studies.
If you're writing an SOP, make sure it addresses you long term goals in relation to the program your going for and how you will use it to improve that industry in your home country. Are you married or in a serious relationship? Take advantage of that. Did you do any community project during nysc? If yes, see how you can use that to you advantage. If you haven't served, great! Tell them you intend to come back to embark on a voluntary service to you nation.
Just take advantage of whatever situation you're presently in
All these are not necessary if you're young, just apply at a rush-free period and you'll be fine

Hi people,

So i finally got a letter of acceptance for my MSc program from the university of Manitoba and i have started the online study permit application. On the part for uploading the letter of acceptance, it says the letter has to contain the exact tuition fee for the program. My acceptance letter does not contain this, however the information is present on the school website. Is it necessary to contact the school to include this information or there is some other way i can go about this?

Thanks.
