My baby do not sleep if I don't dance with him for at least 30 minutes, if I try to sit,he would scream and cry his eyes out and then he will sleep for like 10minutes only for him to wake up and then the dancing cycle starts again from the top. we do this for about 3 times before he finally settles to sleep. Lmao! I assume u are ftm!! It also happened to me, I just left my baby crying on the bed and sat in my own sweet corner crying with her too. It was crying galore that night. I cried eh cos I never knew motherhood was challenging. When we were done crying I kukuma wipe my face then picked her up and viam she slept off. It was and experience I will nevr forget and I've told her the story 1000x.

My dear,we are in same shoe ooo.
My son will suckle on my breast till day break,even if he sleeps and I try to put him on the bed,you go hear shout,he is just 4 weeks old and already know where I sleep on the bed.You will see him stretching his neck to my side each time he opens his eyes.Last nite he was grunting and stretching as if he was having tommy troubles!

there is a charity organization in India that does that. So the poster made a mistake by making it look like the free heart surgery is sponsored in Nigeria. my MIL is late! MySIL came nd stayed wit me 4 3weeks also cos of d nature of her work too. I resumed work wen my LO's were 2months. I hv nanny dat is helpin me out rit now,wat I do is to feed dem well in d mornin,breast pump nd put in d fridge den I giv dem Nan 1 also as formula. Is well dear,dis phase will soon pass. @Rieme, I also gave birth 9 weeks ago, I hv bn taking only warm water, no cold drinks, no pounded yam, lol, took plenty peppersoup, fruits & vegetables. I also usually place hot towel on my tummy when bathing & most importantly, exclusive breastfeeding.

It's not easy bt u hv to try. No exercise till after 6 months & with the consent of your doctor. Hope this helps.

Buy a waist trainer or use a cloth to bind your tummy it will help u reduce your eating

Also u need to watch what I eat, try and reduce your cabs and takeover of proteins and fruit

Moin moin, efo, ugwu, fish, wheat bread, plantain amala, etc
Try and cut off or reduce Palm and groundnut oil to the barest minimum

I kow it's hard to exercise as a new mom but start slowly, buy a skipping Rope and aim to increase the no of skips everyday.

Infant hood is in stages.... It's hard now but remember this stage will pass too and soon.

This reminds me so much of the days when my baby used to sleep only 5 mins. Crazy, I never used to get anything done! Some days I dint even take my bath

But now she sleeps 12 straight hours at night and naps 3 straight hours during the day. Best of all she puts herself to bed


There is light at the end of the tunnel, hang in there

Backing helped a lot during those hard times, as my baby refused to stay in a swing or rocket or even chill by herself for a second

@favoredgal, I did cs and I was asked not to tie any thing on my tummy or do any exercise so dat d place will heal faster, dat was what I did.

My tummy has gone down even without tieing anything on it. For me, I won't advice anyone who was sectioned to start exercising after 6 weeks.

Well said...and babies eventually out grow cradle cap whether it is treated or not. The oil soaking method is just a way of managing/controlling it. My munchkin does not have it anymore and all I did was use olive oil and shampoo.

Pls avoid sugar or sugary drinks as much as possible. Asides making them develop sweet tooth, it's bad for their fragile gum and teeth.

hello dear,my 1year,6month baby touches d back of his gum everytime,when he does dat,he cry instantly and stopped,I noticed d gum is swollen,which I suspect teething,and I gave him paracetamol to stop d pain,bt wats making me to doubt is dat,I do give him bobo,viju milk and do buy lolli pop sweets for him,can it be d sugary things dat cause him to be feeling pains there in his gum,should I stop giving him sweet things,pls help me out dear,tanx

It's colic. Let him b,it wil pass. Ensure he burps well after meal and tummy time too helps

For lil proudy sake, try stay off food dat wil constipate u or lil proudy
Take veg,fruits,lots of fluids and food wit fibre.
