The shopping mall is a fantastic idea and will attract others there such as the 5 start hotel you mentioned and luxury apartments. Its a win win

I can remember 10 years ago we only had ceddi plaza and sahad stores as a major shopping centre. But now new ones are springing up.

There are already too many high rise hotels in abuja. Malls need to be constructed.[/color]

I hope there will be no long queues of vehicles obstructing traffic due to security checks on vehicles. That is one problem with the location of Abuja shopping malls.

The access road to Shoprite Abuja should have been dualised, before inserting a mall.

In addition, I hope gsm network coverage was taken into consideration in the design of the mall to alllow POS terminals to function better. Why do malls, a lot of times ask people to go and withdraw cash from an ATM?

Shoprite does not own the mall at Apo. It is just one of the tenants there. The name of the mall is Grand Towers Mall. It is owned by the same people that own Grand Square Plaza in the Central Area.

yes it's shows shoprite because they are renting space inside the mall, hence the sign out side which says shoprite, to tell their customers (like you) that your favourate shoprite dey inside this mall o!, comprende? tongue

The first pix is not the actual building, the main building is under construction. What you see in the pix was just a design of how the main thing will look like.

The way you asked the question sound as if the whole building belongs to shoprites

Guy, if they fix a 5 star music, sorry, 5 star hotel ther, would you be buoyant enough to lodge there? I trust you can but middle class individuals like myself can walk into a mall, with my family and even window shop! Yea! Its a good idea i tell you .

putting a mall in that location was a very bad idea, I think a high rise five star hotel would have been better. And maybe a beautiful high rise condominium apartment. Not a mall.
