Well I believe uncle GEJ was scammed by the Obas. They knew their influence on the people's choice at the polls was minimal at best, but they still went ahead to deceive him. I don't blame them too much though, afterall, the money GEJ wasted on them wasn't his personal money.


And now the treasury is near empty. But Rev. Kukah and his peace committee want bygones to be bygones. Funny how the tribal war Lords are more concerned with cussing other tribes than they are with fixing the country.

Jonathan was a total failure everyone know that, he did nothing in the whole of Nigeria not even the south south where he is from.
He tried a little in the north due to his political ambition, and mind you the major reason the north did not want him back was because of his inability to stop the insurgence in that area.
The igbos supported jonathan because they believe he is one of them since they have not tested power for a while now, apart from that he did nothing for them. If you have really been to the east, you will find out that most of the federal road in that part of the country is in shambles and bad condition the east is developed because the igbos are gifted and hardworking people. Sometimes i don't blame the when they talk about biafra the truth is they are marginalized. Mind you they are they most patriotic, most igbos speak YORUBA, HAUSA and some other languages in Nigeria but hardly can you see any HAUSA or YORUBA person who speaks IGBO or any other languages in this country.

TAN will organize funny football competitions everywhere and give the youths millions and t-shirt to support there patron.
I think you have to define being 'patroitic'. I don't think been multilingual shows that. The thing is igbos don't like outsiders understanding there language easily.
It is only when you stay there for like 5 years or more that you can understand well.
Unlike yoruba and hausa that if ure interested, u will understand in no time.

The fact is dat the pple were tired of Jonathan ' s gov. If we r to return to status quo den n conduct elections after elections , He(Jonathan) is sure to lose even more votes.

You are running away from the truth, if their is any state or region that should the best is times of development it should be the north for have been in power for GOD knows how long but their is nothing to show for it. If you want to see poverty or underdevelopment come to the north and i just came back from OYO state 4 days ago due it is beautiful but i think Akwa, Enugu or even Owerri is more beautiful.

What does Okogie have against probes and exposure of corruption? He speaks as if it isn't one of the things that has made the country as terrible as it is. One of the first steps in correcting these issues is identifying the problem. And to identify the problem, we have to know what happened in the past.

Secondly, does Okogie think that it isn't possible to carry out these probes without also working to fix things?

that's just 5% of jonathans problem...Had GEJ lived up to expectation, whether turn of north or not, he would have won fair and square just as it happened in 2011..
But alas, he sorrounded himself with loquacious and unscrupulous elements that kept putting his admin to disrepute..eg FFK, okupe, fayose and even his wife was a big distraction and kept causing problem amongst members of his party...
Have you forgotten how during the election period, Fayose sponsored a 20million naira FP advert on sun newspaper insulting buhari alongside with other northern leaders that died in power??
You dont insult someone and still go back asking that same person for favours...and expect it to be granted..
Also, GEJ was not abreast of major things in his govt..he was deceived by the very people he called his own...major lootings and corruption took place in his name, without him being aware...
That's why he was desperate running helter-skelter trying to repair damages done by his aides..visiting all manner of persons for spiritual help...
IMO he even tried @ the polls, after all MB won with only 3million votes diff...
