This is part of what I called government of the people and for the people. Thank you guys for informing us of your surveillance projects, it's good to inform us because we elected you guys to lead and protect us all and our sovereignty. Atleast it's not going to be a news again until we begin to hear successes of the surveillance and prosecution that follows it or complete removal of any element from the surface of the earth that's a threat to our security as a nation. Let's be brutally honest. Anyone saying this is a 'good move' is childishly naive. Id be VERY surprised if up to 15% of this capability was used to carry out surveillance on terrorist suspects... It is far more likely that opposition figures, dissidents and powerful businessmen were the key targets of this effort. 1 Like |
