If your conversant with the way most multinational company work you'll agree with me that a good time management software can get the job done.

I will recommend SAP
You have no point. Some Nigerians see government work as one that could be done with a care-free attitude. The notice has been released. Any person found guilty should claim that they're caught unaware or being witch-hunted.

This is just the best for Nigrians. Thy don't want to work and yet book 8hrs annd collct full salary. Thy don't want to discharge their rsponsibilities and want to be paid. Indiscipline must not be allowd again in this country. We must for once be proud Nigerians. God bless Nigeriam God bless Buhari. God bless me

Chai. But why treat them like primary school pupils. They just need access control where staff will clock in with their id cards, erring staff can then be sanctioned. This isn't the way forward.

Hehehe It's LadyF again grin grin grin

Dead right. So as in my case where i may start my day with seeing and taking instructions from my Group Chairman, i must first get to the office to beat 8am deadline and then do the trip back to a man who may not have the patience for the explanation.

Whatever happened to access control. Nigerians going back and living in the stone age....always.

I think this should also be introduced in the university environment, more especially University of port harcourt Choba finance office where they resume office around 11:30AM and closes 12 Noon, if you dare come few minutes after 12, they tell you to come, the following day, but if you come get issues with short Nwala concerning missing result, you better go meet VC to go beg am because him no get heart again, and all of this people are non academic staff o.

They are even lucky. In 1984 soldiers were usually waiting at the gate with koboko to unleash the punishment to errant staff, after which they were made to frog jump.

In private establishments we don't toy with resumption time. Why then should we allow laxity in government institutions? The rule says work starts at 8 am. That must be upheld.

Good move.

That happens when an organization can't provide a verifiable ground for sacking their workers but with this system computer record when you get to work, when you log in to start work and when your closing for the day. Moreover, if any organization intend to move forward they won't care what gullible Nigerian says rather they will concentrate on showing results.

Nigerians, we are funny. Can you imagine you are wishing some workers will resume late so that they can fire them and you would be appointed as replacement? grin grin grin grin grin. I can't find the rolling on the floor emotion.

This should just be the first step. NNPC management must also make sure staff are productive when they resume early. It's appalling what government workers spend their day doing in the office.

Was in a ministry office in abuja a few years ago and some women spent the 3 hours I was there peeling egusi. Some other spent their time selling their own goods. 4pm they are all out after achieving nothing.
