Hello house, please is it compulsory to submit a mail from the school you want to attend giving you permission for late resumption when your visa interview date is close to the actual date of resumption? I've been trying to read this thread from the beginning and I am seeing "apply for two weeks extension" up and down. Is it necessary?

I submitted my application on the 30th of July. I have been asked to come and pick up but I have been nervous cause of a slight oversight. When I was registering for my TB test, I added my Uncle's address in the U.K instead of adding my school address, is this a problem?
Tho my school representative(agent) said it isn't. But I do think it is, plus my credibility interview I had was also a cold feet flop for me.

So do you guys think there should be any problem??

I want to know because I need to make a withdrawal from my account while I keep waiting for visa approval.

Secondly I noticed that the visa fee and health surcharge is for 3years while the length of my COS is for a year. The UKBA website says I would be given a visa equivalent to the shorter of the two period in this case a year. isn't it overcharging especially for the health surcharge? is there a way I can pay for just one year health surcharge or ask for a refund if my visa is given for just a year?

If you do that and they check, they will think it is deception.
Could lead to a long ban.
That money is intended to pay for your living expenses.

The address won't be a problem as it states just 'address in the UK'

There's really nothing you can do now about the interview. You just have to go and pick up your passport.

If your company can reissue the COS with the correct address then do it, else just state the mistake in the additional section of the application form.
It's probably an error on their website to ask you to pay for 3 years, but yes, you should be able to ask for a refund thereafter

However I have a question o. I checked the visa and saw that I was given only 10hrs to work during term time and I am a postgraduate student. I was planning to work for only 10-12 hours then volunteer for about 4 hours now I can't. Pls does anyone know why I was granted only 10hours?

P.S: I have a scholarship and a bursary. And my course is a 25 hours per week one.

Thank you for trying to help. However my school is a university and I am going for a master program so I am entitled to 20hrs, whether I use it or not is my business. Since the full visa has not been issued yet, I would try to contact my school's international office and the ukvi office so that it can be changed before I get there.

We recently saw someone who was expecting 10hrs who got 20! so people do make mistakes.
