It no longer news that Governor emeritus of Lagos state, Babatunde Fashola is no longer in terms with his one time boss, former state governor, Bola Tinubu, a self- acclaimed leader of common sense revolution and Jagaban.
This could be for various reasons ranging from his popularity, achievements, close relationship with president Buhari and his refusal to play his tunes.

This has manifested in various forms such as
Using the state assembly to probe him (source- thisdaylive, 2010) , opposing his governorship candidate (source), using the incumbent governor, Ambode to revoke properties Fashola's aides bought(source-pointblanknews.com, estatetimesnigeria.com), #78 million allegation to tarnish his image using COCAL (source- infornationng.com), APC leaders conspicuous absence from his book launch yesterday (Source- punchng.com).

2. Tinubu became popularly accept after Fashola's achievements, because he imposed Fashola whom he taught would be loyal on Lagosians.

3 APC has no credible identity apart from Buhari's integrity and Fashola's Achievements.

4. Fashola was actively involved in President Buhari's campaign, in fact he attended almost all campaigns from state to state.

5. Only Fashola made sense on campaign grounds, other were busy spreading tribal sentiments and propaganda.

6. Before the election Most Nigerians preferred Fashola as next president or vice president.

Fashola may not be a saint but his records is speaking for him. It is not news in Nigeria that political office holders inflate prices of contracts to appease their friends and aides that have been loyal and contributes to the success of administration.
