The chibok girls has been one issue not to be taken lightly,but I will reveal somethings my soldier friend told me.

In borno state,attack by boko haram are fewer in the state capital (maiduguri) as compared to remote villages,this is because the military high command created a temporary base in the intersection between the villages and the state capital, inorder to prevent the islamists 4rm staging massive and frequent attacks on the state capital. He said that while he was stationed there, the Army succeeded in repelling boko haram advancement, though not without casualties.

Borno state is a massive flat land area,it is not possible for the Army to be everywhere at every time,so they were positioned at strategic positions to foil bokoharam advancement.

During the course of madam oby bring back our girls campaign (bbog) ,it was revealed that the federal govt sent a letter to the borno state govt advising them to transfer those girls to the state capital because with the military positions it will be difficult for bokoharam to launch a massive attack on the state capital(maiduguri) thus safeguarding the students, but the state govt didn't take to that advice.

In closing ,my friend said thaat as far as he is concerned ,those girls have been brainwashed, everyday they keep reciting koran, the islamists ensure they get brainwashed. He also said some of the girls have been killed in battle because boko haram use them as human shield!

The military shot some,its a war. There are no right wars,in wars there are collateral damages,the bitter truth is that the girls are the collateral the apc used in achieving their aim.
