The idea is dictatorial because there are criminal courts in existence in Nigeria. It is indictment of existing criminal courts. Are they not competent? if not competent scrap them first before setting up special courts. Pure attempt to influence the decisions of the kangaroo courts and to achieve premeditated plans.

Those criminal court's that will ask a politician to pay a fine of N750, 000 for the crime of embezzling N75 billion??

Any deviation from the basic tenets of democracy used in achieving a goal would only help make the resolution of anyone with dictatorial tendencies to commit crime in the future as long as he is the President all in the name of removing the evil using the necessary evil......you people should be more analytical about issues that bothers on rights and code of conduct for any powerful office such as the office of the number one citizen and not blinded by what result that is being churned out now because right now we should be talking about institutions that are tied to the constitution and not some kind of abracadabra method that won't go down well in the nearest future.

GEJ' s ascension to the office and his election in 2011 was a curse to the monumental sins Nigerians committed.
Its biblical times being re-enacted,God punishing some nations for some years with devilish leaders so that they would learn and seek for forgiveness. So there is no way GEJ would ever have been a darling to anyone else than devilish people bc he came to fulfil God's plan to bring in a Messiah after Nigerians would have witnessed years of barbaric rule as punishment for her transgressions and therefore seen the need pray to God for forgiveness and for him to send a redeemer who they would fight for to come into office and enact a change in leadership.

If you are a lawyer, I had expected you to query the authenticity of this news considering the facts in the news itself.

Am surprised that it you didn't even question the issue of legislation which should have preceded the issue of selection of judges.

A special court cannot be established without national assembly legislation.

Right now no bill has been drafted to that effect. Its not even certain if the bill will be approved by the national assembly.

You didn't see anything wrong in addressing thosee uncertainty before talking about selection of juges

The truth is No institution can be created without the Constitutional requirement of passing a Bill to enact such institution and from the information in the news the Bill is already being put together. Obviously, I do not expect that the Bill would be passed and they would be runnning up and down to source for people to work in such institution.

When Buhari said he wants judges who are couragious and willing to tackle corruption, what he is really saying is that he is shopping for judges who are already biased and would do whatever he tells them to do to get a conviction of mostl political enemies of his.

Please can you avail me source of the information that bills are being put together?

Should the bill be put together, is there probability that it may not scale through legislation?

Why is this hurdle not a priority instead flooding social media with something less relevant.

Are you not seeing this news as one of those jargons that flood the media sold to gullible Nigerians?
