Imagine that Northern enrolment into tertiary institutions isn't even up to ⅓ of enrolment of southerners, yet they get the very juicy positions in government and the entire civil service.

How many times has a northerner made an academic breakthrough in the international scene? How many of them have come tops of their classes in any university whether in Nigeria or outside? How many of them have made news for an intellectual breakthrough or achievement? Yet they will be appointed heads over those who are way better than them, yet people come and tell me that it doesn't matter.
I spit on such people.

How can we live in our country, after over 50 years of gaining our independence, yet still being colonised? How can?

If you knew the calibre or people the president has carefully selected, you wouldn't be lamenting. Their pasts were deeply checked before approving their appointment. Hamid Ali is one man I've met; he is honesty personified. This is the wind of change. The usual way of appointing people on geographical considerations never moved Nigeria forward. But this, regardless of where you come from, strictly on merit and background, will surely bring Nigeria out of the quack mire.

When news of appointments break out, the fist thing people will do is check the state of origin. Really? So track record is no longer important? Mr Fowler that was a Southerner was he not later shown to have fake certificates? The way I'm seeing it, people would prefer him to employ incompetent people from their regions rather than competent people from the North. Then when governance become business as usual, we start crying for our sorry selves. I really don't know when and how manage Nigeria moved from having two Muslim Presidential candidates without anyone batting an eyelash to all this religious and ethnic melodramas.

Honestly I'm beginning to get tired of the Nigerian dream. Maybe I should just relocate to the USA or something. Nigerians really get what they deserve. I'm just happy that Buhari doesn't seem moved by unnecessary outcries and may God grant him the strength to be able to remain resilient and focused on his mission.

the West ahead of the North... He went as far as
paying off the company for breach of contract.
Today, Buhari has cancelled the Second Niger

All the dams construction in the North are still
ongoing , infact,Buhari has to order for the quick
completion of the ongoing projects in the North,
he has made the rehabilitation of the North east
initiated by Jonathan a priority without changes
but reduced the initial fund of the cleaning up of
Ogoni from $50m to $10m.
How wicked can a president be? When will Buhari
change from an ethnic bigot to a pan Nigerian?
It is worthy of note that all the programs and
projects suspended by Buhari are the one seen as
projects that will benefit the people of South
South/South East who make up the 5% according
to Buhari.
Buhari should know that you don't beat a child
and ask the same child not to cry.... Nigeria is
sitting on a keg of gun powder and it may
explode soon. The international community is
watching and the cry of the Indigenous People of
Biafra is getting louder.
Buhari and his supporters should stop fanning the
embers of disunity... The continues
marginalization of a section of the country will do
more harm to Buhari's government and the more
