Biafrans are Nigeria's BIGGEST enemies. They are just silently wishing that Buhari fails EVEN after everyone and even the militants have moved on. Their innated bitterness is what will make them the last group standing. So much for Self-marginalisation.

Well if the man thinks he can only trust his fellows from the north to do a good job for him, then I say let him be.

I only care for the progress of this country and not the federal character of appointments.

After all we claim to be one Nigeria so we should walk the walk and stop questioning which tribe the person comes from.

History shows your forebears are the real northern slaves.

1, Awolowo attempted to build a southern coalition after the 1959 general election that will see to the emergence of Azikiwe as the Prime Minister. But, the Eastern NCNC of Azikiwe settled to play second fiddle to the Hausa-Fulani led NCP. So tell us, who are the slaves here if not the Igbos.

2, During the second republican election in 1979, Awolowo again attempted to build a southern coalition to defeat the northern political establishment. He chose an Igbo man, Philip Umeadi as his running mate. Instead of supporting him, the Igbos responded with Azikiwe choosing a northerner, Mustapha Shettima as his running mate while Alex Ekwueme opted to contest as the running mate to the Hausa-Fulani candidate, Shuhu Shagari. Again I put it to you, tell us who are the slaves here?

3, During the botched third republic and while Abiola and the Yorubas were fighting the Hausa-Fulani for the restoration of a national mandate freely giving by all Nigerians, the Igbos led by the likes of Daniel Kanu and Ojo Madueke were kissing Abachas ass all over the country telling him to transform from military to civilian president. So, tell us, who are the northern
slaves here?

4, During the fourth republic, we had just two candidates and both were from the south west but with different zonal backings. The Hausa-Fulani north backed Obasanjo while Olu Falae represented the southern choice. On the day of election, the Igbos again betrayed the southern trust by voting massively for Obasanjo who was the northern candidate.

Finally, in 2010 when vice president Jonathan was been harassed by the northern cabals who prevented him from acting as the president, who were the people that took to the streets to fight for him? The Yorubas led by Wole Soyinka, Tunde Bakare, Femi Falana etc forced the National assembly to come up with the doctrine of necessity that paved the way for GEJ to become the president. Majority of the Igbo politicians at that time were busy kissing Turais ass. I can go on and on but let me just stop here. You people should stop attempting to rewrite history. The Igbos have been in a servant-master relationship with the Hausa-Fulani since time immemorial.
A proud fool of almajiris slave. Shame to u

Somebody explain to me?

Conversely, what did the Yorubas gain with Okupe, FFK and Koro when they were appointed into GEJ's government?

Pls, are u sure u ve seen the 4corner of higher institution b4? R u even sure u attended secondary sch? The way u tink is a sign of a pure illitrate? Ok, do u suppose we as a nation sell our nation to slavery to the western world bc we want dividend of democracy, or maybe Buhari should become the entire yoruba Oba so that he will deliver dividend of democracy to u guys. Do u knw there is a body called UN, FIFA, etc, every nation must ve a representatives there, it doesn't matter if the nation ve qualified citizens or not. Ve u ever studied, Unionism, Corperatives or related topic b4. My guy, as long as it involve people of diff geopolitical locations, believes, cultures etc, everybody must be carried along or else it won't work. Lastly, I bet u ve never hard this saying b4 "we don't want no peace, we want EQUAL RIGHT and JUSTICE", when this two is lacking in any nation, no matter the amount of peace, dividend and prosperity there will always be kiost, violent or even war.

Oh so you don't know why, Awolowo introduced tribal politics in Nigeria just because Zik defeated him in the West, Zik was an orator just like Obama so Awolowo no reach.

Ojukwu released Awolowo from Calaba prison for him to declare Oduduwa State in the West while he Ojukwu declare Biafra in the East so that Hausa-Fulani will be on there own. Awolowo as usual betrayed Ojukwu, ran to Gowon, leaking his asset, which made Gowon to make him his finance minister.

He Awolowo, made Gowon to commit the worst war crime against human right in our history by blocking our food supply there by making people young and old alike to die in kwashioko. When he Awolowo was asked, he said everything is right in war.

After the war, as finance Minister, Awolowo confiscated all Igbo man's money in the bank, and level all of them with 20 pounds each, to set the tribe backward.
After which, the sell of companies and oil well to indigenous owners, no Igbo man was able to partake in the bargain. I don't want to talk about his 3 Rs.But see where we are now, we have bounced back, because we are resilient and blessed tribe. All thanks to Awolowo, tell me why won't Igbos go against him in 1979??

Abiola shout himself on the leg, he said that he will be the president of Nigeria with or without the Igbos, that he doesn't need us. It was a lesson for his likes.

In 2010,you fail to mention how Dora Akuyili as information Minister fought Turai and other Hausa-Fulani cabals to make sure GEJ was installed as the president. Is she a yoruba women. She is Igbo, first class brain.

Check your history well, Most times SE/SS will always be together, the only betrayals that we have in the south is the West. It is not in the blood of an Igbo man to betray, ask GEJ, we supported him from beginning till the end even now.
This is the worst form of history twisting I have ever witness in the whole of creation?

Like you guys are notorious for nepotism and 'my brother syndrome' after the demise of Herbert mulculy, he handed the party machineries to Zik only for him trying so hard to sideline the westerns at there own backyard. it took the genius of awo to curtail zik igbo greed for other people homeland.

Another shameless lies that you guys have been indoctrinated with, your man aguyi ironsi and ojukwu have firm grip of the eastern region for eons, so they just deem it fit to release awo for secession. Slowdown on your lies mate.

So you expected him to open the vault to people that can't produce valid documents of there account? the same people that attack central bank in benin and cart away all the banknotes. A serious nation that just fought a very costly war don't dash away cash like father chrismas.

So because of that abiola statement brought about the sycophantic gesture of Daniel Kanu and Arthur Nzeribe? Does that same statement also caused the AGIP political leanings of your ethnic group as well as the ammunition supply by Nzeribe to kill his kinsman during the civil war. We still remember Osu abiola how the suppose brave tribe were running in droves away from southwest, When even university students were facing the foot soldiers of the junta.

You make me lagh with your Akunyili lines, the same woman that was feeding us with lies about how all his well with his dead boss? man this is not even history but what just happened in not so far distance.

For GeJ, it only takes a world record dumbness and foolishness to support a president that is the most useless in the history of leadership. And don't tell me all those loyalty bullshiiit, he populate his government with folks from your block. so commonsense demands you guys support him plus the azikwe hookline to deceive your peeps.

I am not one to be seen as pro-Buhari, but I think his job is to lead Nigeria, our to support him. Methinks the tools (people) he needs to use to achieve his task is totally up-to him so long as their no constitutional requirements to the contrary. So why not we cut him some slack, since the assessment of his performance would be based on his achievements and not those he used to achieve them.
Thank you so much. You are such a very foolish animal to offer that advice. Why not tell us the scientific proof that those his kins men he appointed are better than the people of other ethnic group. Ok, just tell us the reasons why his kins men are better, explaining and offering their past records, where they have proven evidences to show they are better. Dunce.
Na your fault? Na we the yorubas who disregards all the genuine piece of advice and followed the huasa Buhari I dey blame. If these Fulani and Islam based appointments were done by GEJ, you people would have been thinking of dividing the country, how you will form two governments. You people would have sent your people without direction, whose main objective in life is not other than killing and destruction. You would have send your suicide bumbers to kill innocent people since you do not have value for live.

If only these elders can leave the youth to patch the future they destroyed with their selfish bigotism. These are elders who are supposed to preach love and unity so this generation will not live the life of hate and suspicion they spent the greater part of their lives living.

OBJ spent good 8yrs as president and one cannot really pinpoint the gains or losses it brought upon his people. These are just evil elders and only hope the youths will see beyond their chicaneries.

Guy, don't be deceived. Even in the most civilized of places, appointments are made to represent each region or province. People need to feel comfortable with the government. It is always balanced. Example is Canada. Ministers and important govt officers are distributed equitably. Unfortunately, the people who are trying very hard to pretend that it doesn't matter where the appointees are from, are the ones who know nothing about governance. Especially a democratic federation.

This is not a unitary or military govt. It is federalism and that federal character has to be applied. Abeg, jettison this patriotic posture. If the North has such a monopoly of wisdom and honesty, why haven't they used it to advance their collective cause at least, even if they don't want Nigeria to benefit from such? We need balance. That's what people are saying. There are good and bad people everywhere.
I get your point fully well.. There are still a lot of appointments to be made and that's something that can also be seen to finally bring a balance. The major point thing here is working with the people that can deliver to the benefit of all citizens. The President is just getting started and what we need to do his focus on the changes we are already seeing and not focusing of his appointments cus he is a very smart man and knows what he is doing. His SA on media is from the west and has come out openly to state that the appointments are going to be balanced, so we have to acknowledge the change he has promised.
