Zopo Mobile has seen a bit of success in its primary market, China. The OEM recently released the Speed 7 in India which is a moderate smarphone but still manages to get a little bit of recognition.

Like Xiaomi, Zopo wants to do something crazy that will drop the jaw of everyone in the mobile community globally, while offering same at a sweet price spot. An approach that worked for Xiaomi who now has the Chinese mobile market in its pocket, with recent expansion plans to conquer Africa.

An insider told TechRez that the upcoming smartphone from Zopo, although unnamed at this time will have an earth-shattering Deca-core processor and 4 GB RAM.

This would be complimented wit..

Android will still lag even with tetracore processor, that shiiity OS is very heavy, unlike windows which will run smoothly even with just a single core processor and 256mb RAM.

Phone manufacturers keep coming up with useless ideas to confuse people. Ordinary Tecno phone with dual core processor can run almost all android apps in existence. My friend's s6 with all its super processor still lags.

I think someone already said it all....

Decacore won't remove absolute lagging from Android...

It's just the way the Os is made of wink

Maybe you all think that every Android is Samsung. I use LG phone that doesn't know what lagging is all about. So pls, somebody should stop mentioning Lumia here. What can I do with a Lumia phone? Come to think of it, Why should a Lumia "appless" phone lag?

A Lumia appless phone?

Wait till Windows 10 Mobile is released..

Microsoft has got this one under its wrap, Android dominance will drop overtime because it has been so easy to port Android and iOS apps to Windows Store. Cortana and Continuum are two features that will make some mobile users want to jump camp... I stand to be corrected tho

At least you admitted till Windows 10 but for now there's nothing to do with a Windows phone. The Windows 10 thing can still come and yet nothing [you'll be like Arsenal football club, after every season they'll say next season is theirs ]. I don't see Cortana as something that would make one jump camp cos it's already available on Playstore.
Let me also remind you that most recent Lumia high end phones also come with with some decent specs. So claiming that Lumia runs very smoothly with 256mb ram is no longer true .

Cortana on Android is a watered down version.. Its nothing compared to what it would be on Windows 10 Mobile. You think Microsoft would be foolish to release same app on Android when its Mobile platform isnt even released?

BlackBerry's approach is totally differnt from what Microsoft is doing. BlackBerry didnt have enough balls, there are a hand full of Android apps that dont work on BlackBerry, though they are sideloaded.. They need Google services to work..

Microsoft is not sideloading Android apps on Windows. 10 mobile. They have Project Astoria for Android and Project Islandwood for iOS that will "port" or convert Android and iOS apps that you can download on Windows Store using Windows Services..

Already, with Windows 10 out.. Windows store has seen downloads of apps six times more than when it was on Windows 8....and Windows 10 Mobile isnt even released.

Also.. Windows 10 Mobile has a new periodic update policy. All Windows 10 Mobile users will have the latest version. unlike Android, when users are left to security flaws and dated OS because OEM want you to buy a new phone..

If you still think Windows 10 Mobile is dead on arrival, you need to think again

did I here u say a watered down version of Cortana? grin grin n u think Google will allow that to happen? As for ur other points ,u need to check out the BB 10 OS cos it runs some android apps flawlessly n u made use of the words "port or convert" android n iOS to windows which means either they side load android/iOS to windows or they convert it to d windows specification required. Now most OEMS regularly update their phones to fix bugs n security issues n with the Google Android One project making its way to lesser OEMS across the globe,I don't think windows can challenge that. Don't get me wrong ,I for one is eagerly anticipating getting my hands on a windows 10 PC but not its mobile phones.

I wouldn't want to drag this further..

You can do some research yourself about Cortana..

Android One is not for everyone.. Android One is simply a project to bring affordable phones to emerging markets with a 2-year update window.

After two years, Google will stop updating the OS.. I am not sure you know about that..

And stop confusing yourself with terms.. side loading an app means you are installing exact file format for a platform on another platform..

Windows 10 Mobile apps already available for Android will not be sideloaded. They will be downloaded from Windows Store.. Please spot the difference..

We have a HP z840 with 36 cores and 72 threads so windows reports it as 72 cpus though not a smart phone but just to let you understand that these things are already available. Its all about apps I don't think any one would write an app to efficiently use the full 10 cores. Rather get fewer and faster cores.

Depends on what android you are using and software optimisation.. Most AOSP ROMs with decent hardware don't lag, its the heavy overlay the likes of Samsung and co drop on it that creates stutter. I use a Nexus and I have never experienced any lag..
