Eurofighter Typhoon with a new killer design that the likes of JF-17 will not take anytime soon.

Gripen NG is a fifth gen fighter and far more superior than JF-17 bk III.

Do not forget, the JF-17 Block III does not exist.

I beg to differ. Actually the JF-17 was designed as a low cost fighter to meet the shortfall experienced by the air wing of developing countries. It was not designed or build to rival expensive and more advanced stealth fighters. Putting and incorporating more features on to it will only make it more expensive and that's why is still bearing the old outdated structural design.

It been a low cost Fighter doesn't equal it to been a 3rd world fighter, does it?


The AMX fighter ( Italian/Brazilian) is also low cost, same as the Textron.

The JF-17 block III will still not be a fifth generation fighter after production. Remember JF-17 was a developed as a low cost fighter with the aim of meeting the needs of poor countries.

I completely disagree. JF-17 was not meant to become a powerful dog fighter rather an interceptor.

The JF-17 is a multi-role fighter, not an interceptor. At no time was it intended as an interceptor.

The JF-17 is going to replace the Mirage, F-7 in Pakistani Air force service, and intended to make up the bulk of Pakistani Fighter aircraft, with the F-16 Block 52 and later on J-31.
