Err, I don't think "the born to rule" talk is propaganda. That is just too obvious based on lopsided towards the North the country was created and how power was given to them.

The so-called South also ceded more power to them due to greediness, vain glory, lack of foresight, and stupidity - by creating a unitary government and further centralising the whole country. So they have no one to blame but themselves for folks playing the game of geopolitical advantage to their favour and having a sense of entitlement. Heck, they have had many opportunities to change the status quo but they are too cowardly and lack the wit to do that - apart from cry like clowns whenever things aren't working in their favour. That is somewhat hilarious especially for folks who claim to be the most "educated" and "exposed", yet can't outsmart their "uneducated" brothers lool. The Southerners act like classic nyggahs - all talk but no bite and wit. While Northerners are as strategic as white folks and they plan ahead.

It is not propaganda...the history and creation of naij is out there, including a few files that have been declassified by the MI6. However, the Brits did give the other folks a little bit of a breather to avoid total domination by leaving behind regional government. But the greedy and arrogant South messed up by creating unitary government and further integrating the country while trying to create a mini-America that never was with the hope of using their so-called "education" and "exposure" to dominate the North. That backfired and the North was gifted with more power on a platter of gold.

So, in as much as the "born to rule" mentality is there and no one can deny it cos the country is tilted towards their advantage - I believe it is stale.
