lumia phones are not meant for the tech savvy. boring UI and stiff software build that limits a lot of things. Its meant for people who just care to do basic phone stuff; browsing , chatting, phone calls and music. That's all. boring boring phone.

Not all phones have NFC. You cannot blame a device for having a feature other devices do not have. If you come across another phone that has NFC, good for you because it makes it easier to share files; if not, use another means of connectivity.

I've been using windows phone for over 3 years and i'm an IT programmer, I build windows phone apps so I'm up to date with the news. Am sure you understand perfectly what I mean. Microsoft deliberately built restrictions for their device by preventing it from interacting with other brands that share same hardware feature i.e. Bluetooth, NFC.

Coz I know even an ardent lumia user will agree with these limitations & thus avoid comparisons with other mobile OS

You can choose to explain what you mean, or you can continue to give vague points. And no, I'm not a 'Microsoft shareholder'. If I were, I'm not sure I'd be here. I don't even know why you raised that or what it has to do with anything. (So one cannot argue for a particular device without accused of being an enthusiast. I find that very funny.)

That aside, your sentence on 'lack of NFC' was what caught my eye. And I reached out to you to find out what you meant. I didn't understand what you meant and I pointed that out. You still haven't explained, but that's okay.

Sometimes I wonder too. I still have my 7uck'd up Lumia dual sim phone. It really amuse me when people say Android lags. Yes Android lags when it is Samsung Touchwiz, Android also lags when it is sub standard mediatek or spectrum chip Android phone. Go get your a$$ a better device outside stupid Samsung and cheap mediatek phones.

And again, saying you are ditching Android in favour of Windows and you call yourself tech geek is one sick joke. I know people are pissed up that every hand is Android. Yes, I am supposed to be among but the fact is that Android just work too smart and far better. So we have no choice but join the train because it serves us all according to our needed fully well. iOS and BBOS10 is far better than Windows. In short, Iphone is less locked than Windows.
