Do people still use mtn?

I dont know if this is the right section to post this,If not MOD's should gracefully move it to the right section which exactly is the Front-page..Today Marks exactly 2weeks this issue started..I am an MTN User,A loyal customer at that..Today marks 2weeks have not being able to mark nor receive phone calls in my area here in Ibadan..Everybody is complaining as it is making Life Hell on earth for us whenever we are Home..Before now,The service here is super fast and everything is on point.

I have called their Customercare number times without number,they keep on telling us they would fix it..Have being to their Head office here in Ibadan,yet no response..I was able to get to know what exactly happened,Was told their Generator packed up or something,I dont know how long this would take to be recitified as it seems the non-challant attitude of we Nigerians in things like this at Play here..

The Area in question is Adeosun,Area of Awotan Apete,Ibadan and the Local-Goverment is Ido-Local Government..

MTN Should please come to our resuce and fix things asap..I would so much appreciate

Now I understand why some people claim that the mods on Nairaland are very bias. When MTN were busy, wrongfully disconnecting several subscribers, complaint threads were created on the phone section, drawing the attention of the mods so as to give it the needed publicity. Did we get to see any of such threads make FP

Weird Network Deceiving Nigerians for ages

This is just meaningless cos I see no reason for them to make costumers suffer for there own mistakes and ineptitude... All the affected sims had been duly registered only for them to wake up one day to issue threats to subscribers... Well I believe there cup of transgressions will soon overflow... Nonsense

I had to port to Etisalat after 13 years with mtn.
I couldn't stand the text msgs, poor Internet connections etc.
So far am satisfied with Etisalat.

Why is everyone blaming mtn instead of dumb ncc that keeps coming with stupid directives that is bringing total hardship on Nigerians?

abi o.. And all these crappy agencies with fiddle databases that could be hacked by any ediot keep asking for biometric data which could be sold to any shady organization ..
Jamb - biometric.
Even to make calls - biometrics
Banks - biometrics
Atleast the bvn and National id card are understandable a little bit which should be linked ... The rest are just uneccesary ..
May be soon, FRSC will start askin for biometric data for the vehicle you have re registered like 3 times .
We will need to register our biometrics with every crappy agencies in the country whenever they want to loot.

na so I try do it at all these street store ,come dey tell me u no fit do am here oo. .make I go mtn head office....I say for wetin.... I just go house borrow 500 from Mtn... use the money finish. cut the sim.. purchase new sim. .lobatan

go to any etisalat centre with any ID card(nat'l,voters,driver's,even office's) and switch the old SIM seemlessly in less than 10mins and everyone will still be able to reach u on that line. u will have no worry anymore. call rates are the best 11k/sec to all nigera networks(N5 daily fee). a friend did that two days ago as he cldnt withstand the queue and he is so glad today
