The crowd I saw at their center in Owerri and the attitude of their security guys made me drive down to Glo office to easily purchase and register the line.Good bye to MTN.

D dumbedass ntwk compensated me with 1,000minutes a day after registering, but dem be devil, dem wipe d bonus after 48hrs.

Mtn is just like pdp. They make u suffer, give u poor service and yet give a public impression that they're serving you. The worst nigerian network.

go to any etisalat centre with any ID card(nat'l,voters,driver's,even office's) and switch the old SIM seemlessly in less than 10mins and everyone will still be able to reach u on that line. u will have no worry anymore. call rates are the best 11k/sec to all nigera networks(N5 daily fee). a friend did that two days ago as he cldnt withstand the queue and he is so glad today
What about mobile Internet rates and quality of service? I've been using my MTN since GSM network entered Nigeria. I felt I owe them loyalty but this is not being reciprocated. A wan port, a beg. Fear of the unknown however is holding me down.
Pls convince me Etisalat is good for me.

Why is everyone blaming mtn instead of dumb ncc that keeps coming with stupid directives that is bringing total hardship on Nigerians?
the fault isn't NCC's who gave the directive. NCC didn't say networks should re-validate sims over and over again.
problem's with mtn who can't do dim registration once and for all.

some1 should pls tell them to make this thing possible online so we can do it from our various homes
*so people have to leave their work/offices to go waste hr in mtn office waiting to be attended to
*imagine I have to travel to the next town for the registration only to be told to come back the next day....the place was packed full like a campaign rally

ncc asked networks to revalidate sims with invalid or incomplete registrations and its not only mtn, My Glo was blocked too.

Directive from NCC to deactivate only some MTN sims? I bought a 4in1 sim and registered everything at the same time,, and they decided to block my most active sim, sim1. Now I can't receive any call, 'cause I only use the other sims for fraud.

And I remember when my sim was blocked because my niece typed wrong pin thrice, I called customer care and told 'em everything (maiden name, d.o.b, address, last recharge etc.) before they told me my PUK.. So what's the missing detailhuhhuh

To both MTN and every other Telecom company that are or will be starting their own Re-registration or Validation, for comfortability to your staff and Nigerians please collaborate with some banks or give more agents approval to assist you in the registration process as it is not an easy task to wait under the sun or rain in your offices or outlet just because I want to re-register my line.
Please do something fast before you loss most of your customers.

MTN and their wahala.. .blame PMB when all the northerners are occupying every position. I'm very sure this was caused as a result of the 270 cows that wanted to be registered after his asset declaration.

Glo also blocked my line not just mtn .. And I heard some people received messages from etisalat .. Ncc strictly gave the directive to revalidate invalid or incomplete registration which they have received in the first place ...

I don't know why Nigerians are fooling themselves, millions of Nigerians did not know their rights, that is why you see eminent personalities on line for nonsensical revalidation of sim. What mtn is doing now is happening to all organisation in Nigeria, take PHCN for example, in a new community you have to buy poles, wires and all materials needed for electricity then pay contractors that will errect the poles and fixing of wires, after such vigorous work by community the PHCN workers will come to charge the community heavilly before connecting their wires to major electric pole so as to get light then the PHCN will bring bills to individual houses in the community every month. What Nigeria is this where we keep suffering as right. Its in Nigeria we ask a man to build a shop then ask him to equip the shop with trading materials then selling the materials to that same man

I was still getting text messages to verify sim Registration even after verification was done last week. Went back to mtn and I was told to wait on the queue for another verification.

Those guys are so incompetent. I would have ported but my last porting experience to Etisalat did not go well so i had to revert.
