If I had the money I whoud have taken MTN to court. I can accept the appology b/cos I reg. this same line twice and the are still telling to go -, and do what? How sure am I that after this that the will not come up again with the same nonsess and useless story. I'm not happy with the so call mtn. Why must it be only them all the time among the GSM service provides in this nation that will have the same problem? The national assembly should do something and compare them to compasate those affected. |

Bukiminaj:yes it's was easy as ABC..all I did was walk into an Etisalat office with a valid id card and then tell them I want to port.they gave me a form and then they gave me a brand new Etisalat sim and told me as soon as received a confirmation text I should insert the new sim.it was done in less than one hour. |

PAT4HOT:yes I did retain my Mtn mobile number..walk into Etisalat office and tell them you want to port.they will give you a form to fill and then they will give a new sim for free.that's it.just go there with a valid id card. shikena |

Still don't know what to do... But MTN are very useless shall. Telling me a revalidate my line after series of registration both manually and via sms. Don't think I ve such time now... If not that our NCC and other communication agencies are usless, MTN can't do this nonesense in other countries. Nigerians take so much shit with smile on their face. |

Fvck MTN! If MTN get papa n mama fvck them too. Can u imagine this bastards blocked my line that I registered and also during d time they were sending ppl sms to update missing info and win data I updated, only for those south African fools to block my line a day I was expecting a business proceeds alert. I quickly rushed to their office and met a mammoth crowd that to open their door was a big task, I jejely removed my sim card and tossed it to those snail typing biatches they call customer service agents, went to bank and fill account update form, changed my alert number to etisalat. RIP Empty hen. Ndi ara! |

The agents and retail outlets are charging subscribers for the verifcation. There are no lines or queue in these places and the process is concluded within minutes. MTN should compesate their customers with freebies for the inconveniences. |

hope I can still port after my sim has been blocked. imagine wasting my time to register n I was asked for puk number which I don't know where d pack is. on calling the cc agent, told me my line is inactive and there's no way she could retrieve it. said nothing can be done. b like mk l slap her tru fone. |

I have come to discover that Nigerians are very gullible and don't reason properly. I got the same sms and a follow-up call from them. I told them bluntly it's either they come to my office or get the info they want or by net, otherwise they can block my sms and I will replace it with etisalat. Till now I am waiting for them to block it. Why must I pass through such hell to give them info they lost out of their carelessness. Can they do this in south Africa? They treat us as animal because we don't reason. They are the ultimate loser if they block your SIM. |

kkboy:You spoke well. MTN and other networks should be held accountable for their actions. I mean, the y can't just loose our data and punish us for their NEGLIGENCE. What's even annoying me is the fact that they had the guts to block our lines like it meant nothing to our normal lives. They showed NO respect for us as customers. It's quite sad indeed. To provoke me and other well thinking Nigerians, they put up meaningless apologies... Who care about their freaking APOLOGIES. All despite the block, they still send me those ABOMINABLE messages. MTN is cursed. To say the least, I'm Pissed. |
