Well NASS politics is different from National politics,u know better. And when it comes to political support, okorocha shud rely more on the southwest than on my Almajiri brothers down here in the north!
Your mumu no get part two!!! What is the full meaning of NASS?Is it not National assembly!!! And you foolishly think NASS politics is not same as national politics?

Tinubu is a confirmed local champion and is better restricted to the SW,he does not wield any influence outside the region

You need SW to become a president, you don't need it that much to get a position in NASS.Saraki and Dogara are examples.chukwudi u grab?

If Balewa,Shagari,Obasanjo could all get elected prime minister and Presidents without SW support then hell no SW support is not needed to become president

the circumstances that brought them to power are different.Obj was supported by the north,do u really think my Almajiri brothers down here in the north will support okorocha?

OBJ said something:The actions of jonathan will affect his region.

As far as the average Almajiri is concerned,You re either hausa, yoruba or igbo.An almajiri(northener)cant give preference to an igbo over yoruba. Not after the jonathan experience.

If this is true; Tinubu should leave my Okorocha alone as he is the APC leader in the South east, he has the right to nominate those he feels he is comfortable with. Ngige & Ameachi should also get ministerial post that they have the ability to manage perfectly well for the development of Nigeria.

This news sounds more like assumptions and assertions. Festus is Okorocha's brother from the same area.

Wait o...which state is idimegwu from? No be delta? Even if he is from Imo are the imolites not suppose to be happy that they are sure of having an extra minister? But for the hatred of tinubu most individuals on this thread refused to see how really detribalized the man is and they rather sticked with the gutter anslysis of a deranged journalist or blogger

midolian:
The covert crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC) may take a new dimension following the seeming ploy by the former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, to nominate the former chairman of Nigerian Breweries Plc, Chief Festus Odumegwu, as a ministerial candidate in the President Muhammadu Buhari cabinet.

The move, THISDAY gathered, is unsettling the Imo State c, who prides himself as the leader of the APC in the South-east, seeing his supposed leadership of the party in the South-east as being eroded.

A source who confided in THISDAY yesterday said: “Already, the former Lagos State governor, who is popularly called the National Leader of the APC has taken Odumegwu to the president.”

leadership struggling not for the interest of the mases.

Odumegwu had served in the PDP administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan as the Chairman of National Population Commission (NPC).

He was fired by Jonathan following series of complaints against him as the chairman of that all sensitive federal government agency.
The Imo State governor is the only governor from the South-east geopolitical zone who is a member of the APC and supported the administration of President Buhari in no small way during the last elections.

The governor had during a congratulatory visit to Buhari as president-elect boasted that if not for the strategy that the leadership of the APC in the South-east zone applied during the election, which saw the voting power of the region diminish by over 50 per cent, it would have been very difficult for the APC to win the presidential election.

Okorocha, it was gathered, had been of the strong opinion that he should be allowed by the party to dictate the pace in the South-east because his splinter APGA was part of the merger that formed the APC.

However, the current move by Tinubu, some analysts believe, is part of the larger plot to assert his leadership and control of the party in all the zone.

you argued that he doesn't need tinubu's support to become a president, without SW the next place he can turn to is the north(almajiris).
