What kind of statement is this. He lost his mother for Christ sake. No human will be able to concentrate and play football under those conditions. This is football not war.

It's like people forget footballers are human too

That's not true. We haven't lost to South Africa in any senior competitive match except a friendly match and it was once.
are you from dx planet? Why didn't we qualify for the last nations Cup?

musa is only 22.quiet lad,it shows.as of now musa is a very good player but definitely not Nigeria's ronaldo.he definitely needs the likes of moses, onazi, and Joel obi, heck!! Nigeria needs them 2.plus in terms of a quality striker as of now Nigeria are dead in DAT area maybe musa should be used as striker he has scored quite a few goals for CSKA Moscow as one
Are you Okay? Do you remember ahmed musa in confederations cup 2013.

Your thought on Sisia is seconded, the man was schemed out as super eagles coach by politiking politicians,a coach that did not lost any match official or friendly to no african nation, what happened against Guinea in our 2012 nations cup qualifier was used to rope the man and sack him.I have watched Siasia teams over and over again, his team always score goals, his problem is in defense and the man is getting things right as at the time he was fired.Until we do the right thing in Nigerian football,we will continue to labour in the Senior national team level.
Your analysis are poor. Oliseh did very well and the boys played very well too.

It's just that the Tanzanians were so aggressive and somehow could not allow us to play our normal game. The team is new and with this German style of play, I am so confident that we'll qualify to the Nations Cup.

WE NEED SCORERS NOT STRIKERS!!!!!!

Oliseh to me should have invited Obagoal who could have come off the bench and put pressure on Tanzania who were pretty physical from what I saw in the 2nd half.

A goal will mask a poor performance. Take note of the Italy v Malta Euro game I saw. Who is Malta? They even naturalized a Nigerian upfront and guess what.....In Italy against Pirlo and co , Malta held them and made them looked lacklustre and boring....but thanks to Italy's scorer Pellé scoring a pretty weak goal the narrative changed and Italy wins 1-0.

Please forget about MLS being American, get Obagoal.

But most Nigerians think Mikel is not good.
I love Mikel but the guy isn't playing regular football like onazi and he didn't push for a transfer like moses(who seems desperate for first team action).for years Mikel has accepted the role of a benchwarmer which means anytime he gets called up he will lack match fitness(which is probably the reason why he has hardly been consistent).if Mikel is serious to get called up den he should push for a January transfer from Chelsea or better still a loan move to prove himself elsewhere and be match fit

Lampard did
It's obvious that what has happened has obviously devastated Him and he's in no frame of mind to play. He might not even play for his club next weekend.

Look at Adriano. The guy had potential to be one of the greatest strikers ever but he lost his dad and that made him start drinking. His Career went downhill from there.

People respond to loss in different ways.

Not a very bad score line!

A clean sheet despite the forceful withdrawal of enyeama due to bereavement!

They can do better though!

I never saw the match so, hey, don't stone me!

So annoying to think Nigeria has a keeper like this and Keshi was always featuring agbim
Keshi was busy looking for players to market and then sell. That is why.

the problem is not the absence of mikel or onazi, They were there when South Africa walloped us, I know am young but if you study our team criticaly you will understand that our 1994 squad was the most talented. Now start comparing our new set of players with that of 1994 you will understand we dont have Talent anymore in dx team

Buddy, here's my advice. You must NEVER back Nigeria to either WIN or DRAW! angry Even if you back them to lose, they will win! From my experience over the years, Nigeria will simply do the opposite. Steer clear of Nigeria when you have your money at stake. Pure & simple!

Ok. Well, the truth of the matter is we got a draw which is a very vital point.

Stephen Keshi in charge would have lost this game and Siasia would have gotten a draw perhaps.

Oliseh is new and he's now building this team from the scratch.

Next game against Egypt would be a lot better and we'll definitely win. The North Africans is beateable.

It's always difficult to defeat Tanzania at home. The last time our U-23 played them, we lost.

Just give Oliseh a chance!!
