There is nothing new about this machine. This is not his INVENTION. A chicken plucker has been in existence for several decades now.

The good thing is that given the right resources he might begin to fabricate it locally in Nigeria

Nice invention but based on the outcome of my cost analysis it would be a failure due to a few things.

1: How much power does it consume? Nepa light or generator?

2: How is it cleaned or maintained? This invention would be most beneficial to companies such as KFC, Chicken Republic and so on. but if it can't process many units of chicken at a time then it is not efficient!

3:Since the chicken must be soaked in hot water before going into the machine, this creates additional work. Is there a way to incorporate hot water into the machine so as to make the process seamless?


Once again nice invention but this is 9ja and everything deals with cost!

You do realize their are faster/safer/more hygienic ways in the west to do this? How do you think macdonalds does it for their chain restaurants?

One of my friends did this project at undergraduate level. This is very awesome. If only Nigerian government can encourage her best minds.

If the guy is serious and his invention is viable, he does NOT need any government to START making money from it.

He should sell them to poultry farmers to supply dressed/frozen chicken to hotels, restaurants, bukaterias, schools, hospitals etc. Not so

And later he can petition/lobby his state Honourable, Representative & Senator for enhanced LAW to allow his business flourish MORE.

Mediocre people love celebrating mediocrity. Nigerians are easily dazzled. They don't know how to ask "how" or "why". Which is how Buhari won the election. By promising 5k a month for doing nothing and they were dazzled. Nobody bothered to ask how or why it was feasible.

See my point? Why build something like this? It's not going to replace an existing one so why bother?

Nice one but please look for better ways of dipping the chicken in and out of the hot water. It will save your hands from burns.
