Get on thing straight. Islam does not bother about what tribe you're from. As long as you are a 'practising' muslim. Heck, we would have dealings with muslims from other tribe than non-muslims from our tribe.

We are all brothers, as long as u are a muslim it doesn't matter whether you are yoruba, hausa/fulani, igbo, kanuri, birom, etc all that doesn't matter.

We respect the yorubas, also we are even students to most yoruba scholars. We learn from them and they learn from us.

Infact, where i live in Gombe there are yorubas there, and in the mosque we pray in, yorubas do lead us in prayer... sometimes even during taraweeh in ramadan and also juma'at prayers.
