Hmmm elder indeed.. Yinka Odumakin? Elder my foot... A pro-clueless government supporter. What do you expect from him than wailing and crying foul even if something good happen
sdindan:
I wish the younger Yorubas will listen to what this their elders are saying
But you will see them here abusing them.
After they will tell us that they respect their elders more than other tribes.

Guy, I'm yoruba and I'm in my 40s and I saw exactly what these old men saw because I was a teenager during buhari's military administration in the early 80s

Belive me, the younger youbas chanting 'sai buhari' are Indomie and Twitter generation who weren't around then to witness his dictatorship. Buhari is gradually baring his claws and the sai Buharists I know are gradually being hushed.

Decree 4 comes to my mind and I tell you, it wasn't funny.
Exactly bro,
As if they have been brainwashed.
Let check what happened when the Election peace Committee
Visited Buhari. Sultan was among bt when the news came that
They begged on behalf of Jonathan
Did you see anybody abusing the Sultan?
No. They abused only Bishop Kukah.
What am I saying.. Hausa don't abuse their elders even if he's wrong.
But Yorubas do.

When Odumakin is finally given an appointment by Buhari, his madness will expire after all he was Buhari's spokesman in 2011.

go sempe jor. the state of lawlessness in this nation needs iron fist. within 100days, we have confidence that things is gradually taking shape. we now have near stable electricity, the naira is fighting tooth and nail against the dollar, the refineries are working, the local engineers are being used to achieve turn around maintenance, insecurity is gradually being nipped in the bud. Dollars which almost became our legal tender in the last adminitration is now a scarce commodity giving the Naira a sense of Hope

You can't know better than Nigerians. the appointments may be lopsided, but it is still in consonance with te constitution and more appointments are still coming.

Looters are now scampering for safety.

By the way, who be AFENIFERE?

won ma peyin ko ti kanyin....e lo sempe!
Aburo, who am I to argue with you?
That's the beauty of democracy, you speak your mind, I air my view.
But let's leave it at that and start observing this administration: OBJECTIVELY, maybe we will both change our stance.

And guy, if I hear ' e lo sempe' eh! grin grin

Next four years you then extend it to another four.
You're here abusing Afenifere, but when you meet any of them for
Life you will dive for ground shouting and hailing them.

What's all these rubbish about 100 days everyone keeps shouting. After 4 years our vote will do the assessment and not some jobless people sitting at home only to look at calendars and begin to count days.

As usual we should expect another press release from APC telling us it is Jonathan's fault and we should not worry Buhari's body language will fix the economy...Before the election Jonathan told us all that Buhari cannot remember his phone number, we all laughed that it is just not possible but alas Buhari confirmed what a dullard he is by telling the whole of Nigeria he doesn't know where one of his land is situated, come 2019 he will shock the world by telling us he was never the President of a country called Nigeria. I pity his daft followers.

It is a promising 100 days in office so far, shows clearly President Buhari can do wonders by the end of 4 years. The country was a sinking ship under the leadership of former president Jonathan but the situation is filled with resounding hope today. Just 100 days in office, the leadership is fully on track; our bastardized international reputation & economy is gradually bouncing back, corruption is not only equivalent to stealing but a serious taboo, terrorist and thieves are all on the run, integrity is now at the front burner, improved power supply, pro-masses policy etc.It is thoroughly a new dawn, change has come to stay. It’s naturally difficult to adjust, so wailers will wail, but as a nationwe must move forward.

The president can not just dip his hands in the National till and dole out whatever he thinks to anyone for any reason, without statutory appropriations and approvals. To start with, how were the claims of indebtedness by the states verified? The first question would have been: What happened to the funds earlier released to the states for payment of salaries?

Is it sane that a Governor like Okorocha and Oshiomole that handed over to themselves are also queuing up for bailouts?

Oh. I forgot, GEJ went to their states to empty the treasuries.

#APC! Bunch of fraudulent, broom waving and change chanting jokers!

Really the north has something which is unavailable in SW. Northerners won't tell you their leaders are bad for as long as they are in control over other parts or people. They know SW is the best for destruction of personality or selling such individual for acceptance.

Imagine, even now you hardly see a northerner accusing Abacha or IBB
Of corruptions.
They will start from OBJ then jump Ya'adua then Jonathan
Imagine someone will be saying PDP ruled for 16yrs
In their minds, that 16yrs was ruled by Jonathan.
No OBJ, Atiku, amaechi, kwankwaso Tambuwa and co

It's easier for them to hide facts and block digging deep into their affairs by intruders. While at the same time they don't need to sweat much to get the needed supporters. It seems SW is destined to drum the support and cover their sins.

Can we just give this President timehuh The last time I checked many of these people didn't see no reason to complain after 6 years of Jonathan's LOOT-FOR-ALL-GOVERNMENT.
Am not saying Buhari will come good but we must give him time before we hurl stones at him.
What did Jonathan government loot? So far, from all the rhetoric speeches by the APC government accusing the Jonathan administration of looting the Federation monies, one single case has not been taken to court,or rather, nobody has been found guilty of embezzling any money. Besides, if you look at everywhere around you, you will see what the Jonathan administration has done.

[quote author=lonelydora post=37750910]Why are we talking about this 100 days as if his tenure has ended? Remember GEJ's 100 days was excellent and what happened after 4 years? Give this man a space. I will judge PMB after 4 years.

one of the good tools of a democracy lies in constructive criticism.one has to be devoid of sentiments in doing so.the elders have said it all in this case, not becos they hate PMB,but becos they want a positive change and they want to hold him to his campaign promises. It is a wake up call for apc n buhari,a wake up call for all nigerians
