Alafin is superior to Oni if you talk about Yoruba history but Oni became very popular in modern day Yoruba land and also due to ife being the cradle of Yoruba civilization.

Hope you know that Oranmiyan, the 1st Alaafin and the founder of Oyo Ile was the 6th Ooni of Ife, not number 1 but number 6. All the past Ooni's(the current four ruling houses) have descended from Lajamisan, the son of Oranmiyan.

Oba Adeyemi only had beef for Sijuwade hence tried to twist history. The history twisting would surely stop, now that Sijuwade has waja.
