Please is there anyone resuming in George Briwn College this fall? I don't think I've seen anyone in this forum mention George Brown College as their school of study. Is it not s good school?

Need an urgent answer for my friend here because he has like 3 different landed property documents and co which make his documents voluminous.

it is true. someone I know submitted in August was told to go and make photocopies of all his original docs.

Here is my travel experience...
It was pretty normal. I flew United, Lagos-Houston-Toronto-Halifax. It was pretty okay, nothing spectacular. They mice milk -_-. But the flights were pretty smooth except that my Houston-Toronto flight got delayed for an hour which affected my other flight to Halifax.

Immigration:
Officer: Hi, How long are you staying for?
Me: 2yrs, I'm here for school
Officer: do you have any foodstuff in your baggage?
Me: yes, I have garri and beans
Officer: how much do you have with you?

Officer: go this way and then that way to for inspection.

POE experience:
Nothing much happened here, the conversation went thus:
Officer: hello there
Me: hi
Officer: *typing and staring at his monitor* so you're going to MSVU?
Me: yes
Officer: *after 2 mins* here's your study permit, this let's you work off-campus. Make sure your get your SIN whenever you're free.

After that, I went for inspection and had to fill a form where I had to declare money. Formed convo with him so there was no actual inspection

Highlight of the trip:
Running to the gate of my last flight after checking in again while they kept announcing my name for the whole world to hear. (I was the last person to get on the plane, this was 10mins to take-off) quite dramatic

Halifax is great, everyone has been smiling since I got here, it's so weird. @ettti and other Halifax people, get in here quick

SOP should be uploaded under LETTER OF EXPLANATION and CV should be added to LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE (dt was hw I did mine)

Hi guys please I need help and advice on wat to do.My application was delayed @ the embassy but I was finally called to do my medicals last week and the result says I passed but the problem now is that I want to defer my admission till next year but I have paid partial payment before the process was delayed and the agent that did the application was that I can only get refund if my visa is delayed if not I will forfeit my payment..pls what should I do

Online applicants are not required to pay any additional charges, but ensure you have your international passport (hard copy) + 2 photocopies and your biometrics instruction letter when you show up @ VFS for your biometrics.

I was told to pay 300# I think that was for sms charges ...go with ur passport kos u Wud make some photocopies ....

I was meant to but my visa was denied,still waiting for a new offer letter for winter 2016. i hope this helps.

School is resuming today...but I was just called last week for medicals..They have not requested for my passport yet and they haven't issued TRV

Contact ur school and explain to them.
They might allow u to resume a week or two weeks late, or they will ask u to defer. call dem for easier n faster info

Try making enquiry for the latest date for resumption in your school ....most schools give two weeks grace if things can work out within that time frame u can still give it a shot....mail ur school international student dpt to let dem know of ur situation they will be the best to advice u

I am in the middle of paying my first term tuition fee. I was instructed by UofR to pay thru peertransfer. I have initiated the transfer through a local bank here. Now i got a message from the bank that they could not complete the processing of my transaction because transactions to that same account usually bounces back with some deductions.

Has anyone experienced this before with PeerTransfer?

Goodmorning. I think You will be notified when your passport is ready for collection.
Please When did you get the medical passed update and when was your passport requested?
