AJ this is quite a good deal considering its for 3 people. . How many excursions? I and mine did 2 excursions in 2013 for about $350. It was so so fun I had to buy a third one for about $270 (for 2) on the 3rd day.

Does it depend on the ship?
Is it not the same island (Bahamas) that you went?

I remember we paid like 120-150 per person for each excursion. Didn't pay more than 300 bucks for both of us for any of the excursions. And we went on two. That's like below 600.

I guess we were lucky.

I'm not sure the size or name of ship matters but I do know for sure that the excursions cost varies depending on factors like duration, meal included or not and the activity(ies) involved.
Some excursions are simple and pretty much straightforward like shopping in the local market with a guide of course costs about $39 while more detailed excursions like swimming with dolphins, scuba diving cost as much as $209. So it's basically cut your coat according to your cloth and need abi want.

No, I didn't do either of them. I did two tank reef dive and it was cool. I initially wanted to go for " swimming with dolphins" but when they told me it was $205 per person, I just kuku look front abeg.

They make money from excursions and booze sold on board .

We went swimming with the Dolphins.
Abi I go call am floating with the Dolphins

(because I can't swim)

And shark sighting/feeding.
I must say we were lucky. Because we didn't pay that much.
