Wakanow bookings are mostly cheaper than direct airline booking because they are given discounts already by Emirates/Etihad and they also have last minute deals. So I advice you go with wakanow if its convenient for you and your family. You can get the best booking advice from Wakanow customer service agents, they should know better in that aspect but I also know tickets are less expensive when you book in advance. Qatar is cheaper than Emirates and its cool,

No I don't think it is, I get tired of this okay to board oh. A friend came in yesterday, she booked for Emirates via Wakanow and the next day she just printed out her visa and took off to Dubai, So i don't really get this Okay to board drama because she didn't mention anything like OTB. I guess I'm missing something somewhere.

I think it's depends on who does the visa. I was at the Wakanow Counter some few days ago at MMA2 and 2 guys were denied flying to Dubai because they had no OK to board. They were supposed to fly through Rwanda into Dubai. When they came to the Wakanow counter to seek advise, the guy attending to them said the Indian agents who did the visa from dubai needed to send 'OK to Board' to the Airline(RwandaAir), so he helped them reschedule there flight for 3 days later and told them to contact the agents.

If wakanow or emirates processes the visa obviously there can't be any issues about 'OK to Board'

Just go with the statement and confirm there at the Ministry if it can be done, as for your laminated SSCE result no worries, some went with laminated certificates and It wasn't an issue, they can sort it out themselves. No need to go with your discharge certificate because its irrelevant over here.
