The 1 i was using was taken away frm me when robbers broke in2 my room last week sunday with my laptop nd my oda phones,oh my dear phones....lolz....if not for that i normally use my phone for long,i think is time to get a new one ni,dis time nah 2 padlocks i go dey use dey lock my door 4rm insyd...mak i cum see wu go cum break insyd...lolz!!! |

The truth is that I don't buy new phones and New Laptop. I target upgraded used phones and buy it. If the phone is higher than five thousand naira, I will not buy it. 2013 I bought asha 501 @ #5k gave it to my wife younger sister in 2015 when I bought ZTE G3 Android phone @ #6k and Techno L3@ #5k. gave the Techno to my younger brother to collect is 3 sims techno phone of #4k. Used my galaxy s3 for exactly 2 years. I never changed anything on the phone. Not even the battery. Most ppl mistake it for new sef. Eventually I gave it to my bro because I was tired of it. My benchmark is that 2 years. Laptop is a different case . I got my laptop 8 years ago. But it was top of the line then cost $1000 which was about 150k back then . it's just become obsolete for regular games like Fifa. Only thing I changed on the laptop was battery. My next laptop will be top of the line for sure. Andni intend to use it for 5 years minimum Just goes to show. Buy smart, buy quality and maintain it, take good care of it.... luwee:Nice one. Don't mind these children changing phones every year or three months. The real world is not easy, all one needs is a phone to do the basics. I'm still rocking my 5800 bought since a month after release in 2008. Although the phone has broken apart gradually it still serves its purpose. Would upgrade either ending of this year or early next year. |

Just one year. Then i sell it off add money get a BETTER one. That's my policy. It works just fine. I usually get a new phone between march and april. |

To be honest I use mine 18-24months. I'm super careful with my phones and they could keep going but to be able to make use of tech advances i dont use much longer than 2yrs, providing finances allow. And I usually try upgrade my phone right after release of newer model so I can save $ while being only one model behind. Newly released phones are so expensive...can rarely bring myself to spend that much...hurts my pocket to part with so much $  1 Like |
