We are gonna start with Magento ,Magento Enterprise Edition is the high performance, scalable eCommerce solution for fast-growing and large businesses. most successful brands like samsung use magento to power their online stores . Magento is to Ecommerce , what wordpress is to blogging ,and its totally free to use .

Ok firstly i will teach you how to install magento on a local host and go on to design it and turn it into a powerful ecommerce store .
To do this we need to download a server called xampp , this is the server magento will be hosted on . To downlod xampp kindly click https://www.apachefriends.org/ and install on your system . after the xampp has beeen installed visit www.magento.com and download the latest version of magento

Next Lesson; How to host magento on local server
After you must have downloaded the latest version of magento kindly extract all the files and copy them (just hold CTRL A, and then CTRL C) . then open your xampp control panel ,you would see a tab under it you would see something like APACHE , MYSQL , FILEZILLA etc kindly click start for only APACHE AND MYSQL .Your local host server is up and running , then go to LOCAL DISK C on your computer , open it , you would see a folder called xampp , open it and then you would see another folder called HTDOCS click on that too , when you are in htdocs , right click and create a new folder , you can name it anything you want , but we are gonna name it MAGENTO , after creating folder open it and press CTRL V and paste all your extracted magento files in that folder . Magento has been successfully hosted if you follow this steps , the next thing is to create a database for magento in our next lesson

In other to install mangeto we need to create a data base for it , make sure your xampp is running and you have clicked start on APACHE and MYSQL . Open your browser type localhost/phpmyadmin , it will take you to a new page , and you will see a tab that is called NEW click on it , you will see something like create database just type magento and click create . in other to make the database work we need to give it some privileges and setup a user for it . click on your newly created database , after that click on privileges at the top of the page , scroll down a bit and click on add user .a new page will open , in username you can type magento , host click on it and select local , and for password i will suggest you click on generate password NOTE; after generating password make sure you copy and paste it on your botepad you will need it later , scroll down and click on go. after that a new page opens telling you that you have succesfully created a new user , and scroll down a bit and for database specific privileges click check all . and click go . You have successfully created a database for your online store .

next update ... INSTALLATION OF MAGENTO

ok the next step is to install magento . in other to do this make sure your xampp server is running and then type 127.0.0.1/magento in your browser . follow the instructions .. set your currencies and fill in username and password then after that click submit this will take you to the admin panel of your store . Your store is currently up an running , Next step is to design it that is to change theme add extensions etc.
