Indeed Nigeria is bleeding. This Government is that of propaganda, deceit and self aggrandizement. We will not stop until we cast out the spell APC put on most Nigerians. If we must prosper as a country then we must do away with the likes of those in APC who strongly believe in getting things done through propaganda while they relegate the real business of governance to the dustbin.

TonyeBarcanista:
It is no news that since May 29, Nigeria has been delving from a very bad situation to a near comatose situation. Our economy did not only suffer but appears to be as the biggest victim of Buhari's mal-administration and ineffectiveness. Three sectors that I shall talk about in this article are the Economy, Security and the Petroleum sectors. Let's proceed...

STATE OF THE ECONOMY UNDER BUHARI
During the electioneering period, President Buhari promised a 'gigantic' but illogical economic prosperity when/if elected. Immediately he was elected and sworn-in, everything changed for the negative. Job losses everywhere and uncertainty/negative slide is the order of the day. Let's see JP Morgan issue

JP MORGAN:
To those that don't understand, JP Morgan is simply an index. Investors trust their index so much that over N40 trillion is put up by investors on bonds that JP Morgan list. In 2012 Nigeria's bond under the able leadership of Dr Goodluck Jonathan, ex-Finance Minister Ngozi Iweala and former CBN Governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi FOR the first time was listed by the index. This brought about investment into our bond market by foreign investors. In January this year, the Index placed our bond market on a warning list. Unfortunately, they decided to de-list us from their index starting from next month.

Why Nigeria Bond Market Was removed:
JP Morgan's decision to de-list Nigeria's bond is summarily because of lack of fiscal policies by the Buhari government and CBN's tickling/manipulation of the Foreign exchange (www.reuters.com/article/idUSL5N11F1YQ20150909). The failure of Buhari to constitute a cabinet/implement fiscal programs has cost Nigeria potential investors and led to loss of some of the investors that Buhari inherited. The country is bleeding.

JP Morgan Never Asked Nigeria To Devalue The Naira:
Contrary to the fables in some quarters, JP Morgan never asked Nigeria to devalue the Naira as a pre-condition to remain. It only raised concern that CbN was tickering with the Naira thereby allowing it a false value which no investor will accept. In simple terms, it advocated that market indices determine the market value (which some of us have been advocating). It also called for fiscal policies to be implemented , which Buhari led administration is yet to do. The country is bleeding.

STATE OF THE PETROLEUM SECTOR
Okay, since time immemorial, patriotic Nigerians have insisted that the ongoing TAM is due to the efforts by the immediate past administration of Dr Goodluck Jonathan. The administration in March this year was very clear when it told the Senate that our refineries will start working optimally from the first quarter of 2016. On assumption to office, the Buhari administration in June 11 without lifting a 'shovel' came out to say that the Portharcourt refinery will resume optimal production in July www.premiumtimesng.com/business/184850-port-harcourt-refinery-to-start-production-august-nnpc.html. Not done, they came out on July 20 that ALL 4 refineries will start optimal production in July
www.premiumtimesng.com/business/185402-nigerias-four-refineries-to-resume-production-in-july.html.

July came and gone...August came and has gone... Now the GMD of NNPC on September 10 came out to say the 4 refineries will start working optimally in December
www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/189786-nigerias-4-refineries-must-be-functional-within-90-days-nnpc-boss.html

I won't be surprised If by December they shift it to January/February 2016 in line with the projected first quarter by GEJ administration.

STATE OF SECURITY/INSECURITY:
As a pastor in Tinubu House of Prayer Ministry, Yemi Osinbajo was to use spiritual warfare in alliance with the military experience of renowed War field marshall, General Muhammadu Buhari to uproot Boko Haram from our territory. That was the message that APC gave Nigerians during the electioneering period. But since coming to power, Boko Haram that was in their extinction phase as at May 28 suddenly came back and have been terrorising Nigerians in the most brutal manner. Since May 29, over two thousand Nigerians has lost their lives. The latest victims are the unfortunate people in the IDP camp in Adamawa state. May their souls rest in peace.

May God Bless Us All

My brother, thanks for coming back to our fold.

@topic, it's unfortunate that Nigerians naively chosed bondage without thinking about the painful consequences.
At the initial time, they said we at least wait for first 100 days, today, they've increased it to atleast one year.
Maybe after one year, they will start asking for another term.
No matter how one look at it.
Buhari is big failure.

welcome back barcanista. you are one of the sane heads in this forum filled with so many mad people. your analysis is always on point.
I don't know why the rush in getting the refineries to start functioning. TAM is scheduled and yet some people in their quest to claim glory are hell bent on kick starting those refineries so that they can be seen to be working. don't be surprised of those refineries break down again in no distant time.
welcome back brother

This clown takes himself too serious .. the likes of omojuwa will decimate this clown in an intelligent debate anytime.. I just pity the kids following this ass around .. a man who was an apc supporter u would think if he ever meant well for the party he will stick in and offer constructive criticisms even if it will always be rantings on a faceless forum at least it will be on record that he has honour . I mean what's the difference between this person and the idiotic A PC and PDP politicians that cross carpet , decamping
Whenever it suited their interest. U support one party and castigate another ..next what u support the other and castigate the one ..no idealogy no principles no conviction ..no philosophy ..just plain old fickle drifting like a LovePeddler up for the highest bidder .

Instead he switches to pdp and suddenly is blind to the 16years of misrule of same party ., now he can't even decide what platform he intends to use to propagate his foolishness I'd have expected he will start a blog and at least earn money from writing all this grammatically erroneous BS .

No he doesn't ,instead he runs back to nairaland, the one place he gets his audience ..there is never a short supply of idle minds to swallow whatever hogwash any clown with an android phone and a daily plan can churn out .

I will say this here ..buhari hasn't started as decisively and as positively as many would expect and that is a popular perception among unbiased Nigerians but my gut tells me no matter how messed up buhari turns out to be. It can never be as bad a GEJs

Shows the level of tolerance on nairaland ... Facebook couldn't stand the clown and got rid of em ... Smdh

Nigerians continue to demonstrate the continual deterioration of the intelligence quotient of the country.

It seems to be an APC curse.
Points have been raised and one expects an intelligent discussion to refute or buttress them.

Instead what we see are lobotomized youths programmed to shout "wailer".

Over 60, 000 jobs have been lost in 4 months.

Billions of dollars have been lost in the stock market following our delisting by JP Morgan Chase.

The naira is at its lowest ebb and may plunge further.

The government is threatening to pull 2. 6 trillion naira from the commercial banks all at once which will be suicidal to an economy that her liquidity is all but gone.

To crown it all no economic team on ground to steer the ship to safety.

Soon one senseless goon will call me a wailer for showing genuine concerns for our economy.
u deserve a standing ovasion for this powerful statement of urs. Naija is bleeding

Why did Facebook ban your account?

Why were you disgraced out of Facebook?

Life is harsh indeed

You wrote a lengthy epistle telling us that were going to join forces with Green9ja and that you guys will take over Nigerian politics.

In less than 2 weeks, you are back to the same forum you left . Dont you have any shame?

This is the same behavior u exhibited during the elections, one week you were campaigning for Buhari, the next week, GEJ became your God.

You have no character, no conviction and you are certainly untrustworthy

You cannot stand the heat of Facebook , you cannot compete in mainstream social media, you are making more enemies than friends.

Nigerians should access Buhari at least after One year in office. Its too early now. Let the APC run this country anyway they want.
I agree with you. But in a country where there is so much anxiety for right to rule over wrong, where people have renewed high hopes and expectations. 1 year is fine for assessment, but i would rephrase to say, "Let APC run this country for a change".

¤ The improvement in power supplies

¤ The seeming rebirth of Nigerian airways

¤ The weakness of the bokoharam terrorist group and their exit from areas they've claimed in the past

¤ The turnaround to resume the purchase of Nigerian oil
¤ The high hope and trust Nigerians have now in NNPC
¤ why oil marketers can no longer hold the country to ransom
