Its not spiritual but physical, but there is nothing God cannot do. its not normal, and it has to do with how d brain rotates sleeping pattern/phase.

Its called sleeping paralysis, or (old hag syndrome(myth)because those days its believed that its a witch that pins u down), it is common among those with sleeping disorder especially narcolepsy, it mostly happens wen u are falling asleep, or just waking up. I was once a victim, i still experienced it of recent, its not life threatening but very scary.
