So what has your Lynx achieved by hiding inside your 15 km SAM umbrella ?

Anyway, F-7 has 22 km range missiles, so with your Lynx only 15 km away, NAF will still shoot them down into the sea !
.
Lynx will savely stay within the deck until your only three F7 move clearly out of the SAN frigate's way

I guess you don't know pirates is not just problem of Nigeria. And there are lot of cleaning up in the Gulf of guinea recently.
Talking of pirates what will your navy fight pirates with? Valour or subs. Nonsense.

What has your inexperience navy ever fought against.
They only snap pics.
Go check out the history of SAN before you talk. Piracy is an Nigerian endemic problem and is now the world maritime problem in your waters because of corruption and incompetence.

We exercise with Nato and with Brasil and India using both our frigates and subs on a yearly basis. What are your country doing that is comparable.

Yes 12 obsolete F-7's and only F-3 operational, the rest rust buckets are languishing in your airforce graveyard like the rest of your obsolete airframes

Why don't we test this theory.

Fly your Lynx over NNS Andoni, and let's see the outcome. I assure you, the lights would look like New-year's day in September.
What weapons will NNS Andoni use against Lynx to cause it to glitter like a new year's day fireworks celebrations?

Why don't you test that theory by posting the specs of your rusty 30mm naval cannons.

NA has been flying only three same F7s ever since and that has been a major concern over the media. It is not even a secret that your air force chief disclosed that NA is in a serious need of fighters and that they were considering to buy light low cost fighters from America called scorpions.

You see you know nothing about naval exercises.

When has Nigerian Navy stood side by side with any Nato navy.

What main thing when has Nigeria ever test fired a anti ship missile or anti air missile from any of its rust buckets. You can't even handle your tiny coastline currently.

You have no ship that pose a threat any of our navy ships fact.
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 8:00pm On Sep 15, 2015
NAF wanted to buy scorpions because all their fleet date back to 1980 with exception of nonoperational F7s.

In 2014, they wanted to buy low cost scorpion jets.

He never said we have 3 F7.
Is it only when your jets are bad that you buy new once.

Military equipment are not kept in 1place they are spread all over the country. Secondly how do you differentiate the Jets when they all look alike.

Pls differentiate them.

From the horses mouth.

Speaking under the Chatham House Rule at the IQPC Fighter Conference in London, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) officer said that the Scorpion would be very well suited to the
west African country's current struggle against the Boko Haram extremist organisation. "Right now in the Nigerian Air Force we have equipment that is obsolete and with a low
[availability]," he said. "The air force needs a rapid response capability, with a concentration of precision firepower. In our country we want [the Scorpion], and we need it." The official told IHS Jane's that the NAF will make its case to the government shortly, and that it hopes to acquire "a squadron's worth" of Scorpion aircraft initially, although this number may rise in the future.

The NAF currently fields a very limited offensive counterinsurgency (COIN) capability in the guise of 11 Chinese-built CAC F-7 fighters; as well as 21 Aero L-39ZA Albatros, 12 Alenia MB-339, and 12 Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jet trainer and light strike platforms. It also fields seven Mil Mi-24 'Hind' assault helicopters. With the exception of the F-7s, which were acquired in 2010, the NAF's fixed-wing combat fleet dates back to the early 1980s and needs replacing.

The explanation of that statement means that of all NA fleet the availability is low, meaning not all equipment is available for use. That also means of all 12 F7s only three (3) F7s are available for operation and the rest are down to the dogs.

Nigeria AF as in 15/09/2015 has only three F7S to protect the whole country. That we have seen and we do not need a rocket science to prove it to us.
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 8:31pm On Sep 15, 2015
Nigerian military technically and evidently has no capable Air force nor Navy. They have equipment limited to fight BH and not SANDF.

Any objection?

So as a so called analyst you don't know about Umkhonto area defense capability of the Valour Class Anti Air Frigates
Umkhonto is a short range missile and technically NOT an area defense missile. The only area defence missile in Sub Saharan Africa is on NNS Aradu with 75 km range Aspide BVR missile. South Africa has no BVR missile anywhere.

Your umkhonto is an anti-aircraft missile and I am asking you how it will shoot down a missile like NAF PL-9C, you failed to answer.

Do you call a 15 km range SAM a short range? Nah!! really you must be crazy indeed.

NNS Arandu is non operational.

So non of your imaginary ships are capable of fighting outside your 1000nmi wow wonderful.

We have a blue water capable navy and we can take out your navy with one sub. You don't have any operational anti ship missiles nor do you have an naval missile batteries anywhere your coast.

Yes we can deploy them outside our borders if the need arise we've done it before.
Same way South Africa cannot fight outside your home waters, we will sink your warships with air power, and sink your submarine when it snorkels after 48 hours underwater, you won't be able to take out our navy safe in the harbour, but we can sink your sub at sea with air power.

You cannot invade our sea, same way we cannot invade your sea.
