Do not even try to compare your aspide to a 5th gen SAM. The Umkhonto SAM range is still being upgraded to be a area defense SAM and is by all means a superior to your aspide mk1. Tell can you compare a 1970's seeker head to a 5gen IR Homing missile.

The Aspide MK1 is nolonger in use by all of its former buyers including Italy its primary user.

Ok and I see you wanna talk of T55 well I say a Mamba MK5 MRAP with Ingwe will take out a T55 or T72 with ease.

You must take note of the fact that our defense department was once hit by a serious corruption scandal and this time around there should be special anti corruption unit that will be established to defeat all elements of corruption from within.

Meanwhile, South Africa has ZERO anti-submarine warfare capabilities.

Those Nigerian navy small boats you underrate are very very dangerous in littoral warfare to protect Nigerian territorial waters, Nigerian Shaldag Ocean Interceptor armed radar guided cannon gunboat speed runs twice faster than your torpedo and Shaldag almost does not stay on water, it almost skims and flies in the air and our X-38 automatic grenade launcher armed Stealth combat Catamarans are almost invisible to radar plus high speed and low noise near silent mini engine so hard for sonar to detect as they almost fly on sea surface, they are also equipped with echo sounders to detect underwater objects.

Nigeria can also deploy 50 armed Shaldags and Stealth Catamarans to sea, to deny your Submarine a chance to part-surface and snorkel, fear will not let your submarine snorkel, and lack of oxygen will kill Soweto sailors inside their unlucky submarine after 2 days, your maximum submarine time under water is a short and brief 2 days or else your Submarine battery will die and the submarine will perish with all the sailors inside it choked to death, and down to the sea bed sinks Mandela's Submarine, wasted $300 million sub in one day.

With a fleet of 3 frigate, 2 stealth OPV, 4 corvettes and 10 FAC plus about 350+ patrol ships Nigeria can blockade Simon town naval base plus the whole of south african coastline at will. #FACT
