FighterPilot:"Defence Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula is on a window- shopping tour to the UK, attending one of the world's biggest military and security equipment expos." Window shopping according to the report.....that means wasting your country's money on flight ticket, hotel bills, night/day cash pocket allowances, travelling overseas to just look at weapons that can be easily viewed at home on the internet.....ANC is robbing South Africa.....your leaders bought one Super Lynx patrol/rescue helicopter for $ 40 million same price as an ATR-42 Surveyor ISTAR/MPA/AWACS aircraft ![]() RSA...Mumu nation of thieves. |

iblawi:How sure are we if that drone was not owned by China fool. There were only two CH-3 in Nigeria and one had already crashed. |

Msauza:http://www.timeslive.co.za/thetimes/2015/09/15/SANDF-goes-shopping The report actually confirms that : "Some of the equipment that must be replaced dates back to the 1950s, including trucks and aircraft." SANDF is full of obsolete equipment, some dated 1950 generation ![]() Helmod said "Critical equipment, including trucks and armoured infantry vehicles, need to be replaced. We desperately need light anti-tank weapons and reconnaissance vehicles. Our artillery and antiaircraft weapons systems need upgrading." Stupart agreed that a lot of SANDF equipment had to be replaced. Many of your VITAL equipment especially are not operational or unfit for use in war, SANDF is loaded with junk weapons "R30-billion would go to SANDF border protection." SANDF is officially responsible for border protection, yet Rhino poachers dribble them, enter your father-land, mess you up ![]() [size=13pt]SANDF cannot protect South African borders, gun smugglers from Zimbabwe, Rhino poachers from Mozambique, hired assassins from Rwanda, all walk majestically like warlords under the wet mucus dripping nose of South African army to do damage to Mandela's fatherland ![]() Useless and incompetent SANDF, inexperienced army of rookies . Msauza:The once Your source saw. I posted the 1 from chief of army staff saying we have many. If we become a local power then the budget we now have is enough, although we will have to get rid of at least 10000 defence force members, with the defence industry all but dying. Stupart agreed that a lot of SANDF equipment had to be replaced. You were referred to as a regional power about to go local Zulu to get rid of 10000 defence force members. Cos dey only snap pictures.they have no use to the country. You are truely a local power. http://www.timeslive.co.za/thetimes/2015/09/15/SANDF-goes-shopping |
| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 10:24pm On Sep 16, 2015 |

Msauza:You are getting rid of 10000 defence force members. Cos they have no use except to snap pictures. What is the size of your military? < 50000 - 10000= 30000+ mumu. Your military is truely local. |
| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by iblawi(m): 10:34pm On Sep 16, 2015 |
Msauza:30% of our vessels is still far more than what you have. So stop posting nonsense. |

iblawi:Bwahahaha… The question is will your small boats stand submarines and frigates? I doubt. |
| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 10:42pm On Sep 16, 2015 |
iblawi:The size of military is 100 000 including reserves. Do you even take words that are being said by an interviewee outside defense seriously? He simply made an example, don't make his words those of SANDF. |
| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by iblawi(m): 10:46pm On Sep 16, 2015 |

| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 10:47pm On Sep 16, 2015 |
DictatorZAR:Nope, FREMM frigate uses the modern 76mm Super Rapid version, not the obsolete 1970s scrap 76mm that South Africa removed from the old Warrior class gunboats, dumped in a metal scrap yard, picked up in year 2005 to be repainted and fitted on a brand new stealth Valour frigate, a non-stealth gun on a stealth warship.....Zulu + Xhosa = Mental Retardation . |
| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 10:48pm On Sep 16, 2015 |
Reason why the SANDF support operations can never be looked as military by nature. http://citizen.co.za/699456/sandf-no-longer-part-of-operation-fiela-mapisa-nqakula/ |

| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 11:05pm On Sep 16, 2015 |
iblawi:Umkhonto missile CANNOT stop a missile, it's built to stop aircraft. Nigerian armed drones are a threat to Valour frigates with our 10 km range air to surface missile, the Valour's Umkhonto cannot climb beyond 8 km, if NAF drones can climb to 8.5 km (CH-3 drone altitude is classified) it will sink the Valour frigate and nothing will harm the drone or stop it's missiles. With these armed drones, any navy sailing frigates into Nigerian waters to fight must come with an anti-aircraft missile that has altitude of at least 10 km or else it risks being sunk by our guided missiles drones . |
| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 11:11pm On Sep 16, 2015 |
Msauza:Umkhonto missile is an anti-aircraft missile NOT an anti-missile missile. It was only tested against a slow speed Skua drone, never tested against a supersonic speed target, or small target, talk less of a high speed missile. Even a NAF F-7 jet has same speed as your short leg Umkhonto missile that cannot run long enough or fast enough to catch up with an F-7 jet. Keep fooling yourself . |

Msauza: Msauza:Msauza is a born mumu . "China's sale to Nigeria of CH-3 UAVs armed with AR-1 missiles was revealed recently when one of the aircraft crashed in late January, apparently during a sortie against the Boko Haram militant group in the northeast of the country." http://www.janes.com/article/49455/update-idex-2015-blue-arrow-9-further-expands-chinese-uav-weapon-options . |

| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by iblawi(m): 12:25am On Sep 17, 2015 |
They forget we Dont snap pics like their CAMERA DEFENCE FORCE cos a lion don't need to prove it worth to a dog. The day your frigates enter Nigerian territory is the last you snap pics with them. |
| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by lionel4power(m): 12:26am On Sep 17, 2015 |
Msauza:only nuclear submarines are threat to us. Diesel, gas or electric boats will die under withering fire from 15 alpha jets, 15 albatross, 15 mb325 jets, 4 CH-3 missile armed drones guilded by ATR-42MPA. |
| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by EVarn(m): 12:28am On Sep 17, 2015 |
