Close to 3weeks after I got the phone, I couldn't activate the 1g for #500 data plan, I kept calling and exchanging mails with them , most of them are even ignorant of the plan , and I had to deal with different CSO and they all kept promising they would act on my request , but one suggested I take my device with evidence of purchase to their center around me which I did , the CSO that I met collected the pack scanned the imei , checked my Jumia receipt etc, and promised to work on it , the following day the plan was activated for me , so I suggest who ever is experiencing the same issue should do same.

This question goes to all . If I insert mtn SIM in this Infinix Hot 2 and subscribe to that MTN 1GB data at N500, then remove the SIM and put it in another phone, will the data work there? Secondly, if I later get another SIM to use in that same phone, will the data still be activated in the 2nd SIM?

I noticed that if I click restrict background data, my data lasts much longer. I love that feature. please help me ooooo, I don't know how to move files to phone memory using es file manager

They are 2 different things. Android One is a Google project which aim at taking Google (Android) phones to developing countries. Just like Nexus phones, Android one phones will get (as claimed) prompt updates whenever there's a new Android version. Android 5.1 on the other hand is the latest iteration of Android OS and that's what Infinix Hot 2 comes with out of box.

5.1.1 is the latest and u should have it if uve upgrded your phone

its not a one time offer

I didn't ask about that specifically because the promo stated 12 months. And the CSO said I could reach them if I had problems subscribing subsequently when I asked if subsequent subscriptions won't pose any problem. So I guess the response says it all.

Despite d effort I put in beggin members to backup rom for nobody help, but with hard work I have revived my hot2 .kudos to infinix support

When you are trying to install from playstore, a pop up comes up asking if u want to wait for WiFi network. uncheck box and download
