Yes, the 4th biggest democratic government that jails you just for being gay. Is that democracy?
What about your restrictive labour laws and totalitarian Protection of State Information Bill?,is that a democracy?.
There is no perfect democracy anywhere in the world{even in the west},sometimes the law has to be bent to protect cultural values and sovereign interests.
Nigeria still remains the 4th largest democracy on the planet.

How effective has over 25,000 air strikes been against ISIS in both Syria and Iraq?

Just because you have the 4th biggest voting population don't make you democratic. Some of your laws are still archaic and non democratic and still discriminate against minorities.A democracy is only good when press freedom is protected and fully guaranteed under its constitution. But I'm afraid this seems not to be the case in Nigeria at times.Go look at your press freedom and then you'll soon come to the realisation you are far from being truly democratic.
You need to take a few political science classes because you way out your depths here.
Now don't derail this thread again with your off topic bs.
What press restrictions are you talking about?,you must be suffering from severe case of mental injunction if you actually believe the crap you wrote.
Nigeria operates a 'free press',one of the freest in the world; any journalist can walk up to the president and call him a thief without getting bundled away by the police, this happened many times during GEJ's regime.

Press freedom is exemplified by Nairaland.com. This site, which is the largest in Africa is a perfect example of how free the press is in Nigeria.

In truth, in many ways, we have a much more freer press than the U.S.

I wonder how you guys heard this much about boko haram and many other bad news if the Nigerian press men/women were not free.

Guy a good example is how the all African Games 2015 started many said stvpid things about us but at the end we overtook very 1 except Egypt.

Same thing is happening politically, economically and military wise. grin shocked shocked

We are the true Africa super power.
Everyone don't take there best to All Africa games. SA uses it as a stepping stone to unearth new up coming talent. The main thing is how was your World Athletic Championship results a few months ago.

Economically yes by your population you should be leading but politically and military wise your numbers count for nothing.

Military wise I rate Uganda above you they outclass you with only 3 S-27's since you only have 3 obsolete F-7 relics that cannot fire a single missile and only dumb bombs.

Nigeria still remains the 4th largest democracy on the planet.
That Bill wasn't even signed into law and the President told lawmakers to rewrite some of the laws.
The laws in that bill is still way more democratic to what you currently have.

Our labour laws are not restrictive it gives both employers and employees the same rights under our constitution. The reason some say its restrictive is because some multinationals still wanna abuse labour rights and pay workers nothing or employ people and pay them less then minimum wage, while there shareholders in europe get more wealthy. Go take a look at our mining industry where pay discrimination was the worst in the world.

Culture evolves and should change with modern times. Stop making excuses for repressive anti gay laws that has no place in a free modern society where human rights and the right to live free should take precedence over culture. What does gay rights have to do with a nations sovereignty. Stop your excuses.

Yes there is no perfect democracy but your ratings are far from being world best not even Africa's best to say the least.

You can remain the 4th largest democracy good and well, but where are your woman in all of this are they taking there rightful place in your FG and Senate, because the numbers seems to tell a different story. You still lag behind other smaller african democracy's and that's a undeniable fact.

Shut the f.uck up fool.

Your military and its denial of human rights abuses is a everywhere to a point where you've been denied access to western weapon systems. Human rights is an integral part of military, because military doctrine will determine how the world and communities sees you. Nigeria's incompetent illiterate military is a example how a military should never treat its citizens.

Big lie.

Do I really need to reply this? No. I guess you are frustrated.

Just sit and watch us the same way we did in all African games.

I wonder how you people reason over there. When you were winning you didn't say you have many athletes that didn't show up. Well, we have over 50 athletes in Nigeria too that didn't show up.

We have already taken the economy, the next will shock you. Just make sure you don't commit suicide when the news break out. shocked shocked grin grin shocked shocked

Big lie from fake air force officer !

Radar will detect a submarine snorkel, and worse for the submarine if it also raises it's own radar and periscope at the same time.

https://www.quora.com/Can-radar-detect-a-submarines-snorkel-or-Periscope

Also, Nigerian navy has total coverage of Nigerian coastline with 50 km range TV Cameras, we also have the new Israeli Falcon Eye 24 hour high power ocean surveillance sophisticated systems covering the entire Nigerian EEZ up to deep inside Gulf Of Guinea.

No submarine can hide in Nigerian waters unless a super power class Nuclear power engine submarine, which South Africa will never have.

SAN has only one mandate in SADC waters and that is to patrol the Mozambique channel and its own 2800km coastline and Marion Island that's over 2000km away. We are not responsible for Angolan waters fact. We have no agreement nor do we a mandate to go past Namibia to protect Angola. lol,you bring a source from an international armchair media group that hasnt even stepped foot into Borno state?,are our local and international media orgarnizations{ChannelsTV} complaining?,journalist right groups have accused the US government{of all governments!} of restricting media access to vital information; is the US an oppressive society? - no matter the degree of media freedom dished out in any nation, greedy journalists are never satisfied
In Nigeria, the media is enjoying an almost god-like reputation; recently, column journalists and newswriters took to sarcastically referring to PMB as "baba go slow",no one reacted, infact PMB found it quite amusing.
During the regime of GEJ,it was so bad even liberal western countries would have clamped down on it

It's even more visible from aircraft...the whole submarine shape is visually clear, and the snorkel is pouring out heavy diesel engine heat attracting airborne FLIR while the sub snorkel and sub radars are reflecting clearly on airborne radar screen from many kilometers away.
