Are you thinking now?

Infantry which matches on foot? Without IFVs or MIVs alongside tanks? will handle mechanized infantry?

Artillery which still relies on orders shouted over the radio? without fire control computers?

Training and doctrine is what is important not experience.
Infantry is primarily meant to march on foot you dummy, that is the real meaning of infantry....foot soldiers.

Does SANDF infantry drive MRAP into houses and on top of hills, or inside the thick jungle on tree top?

Artillery fire control computers do NOT detect target, they just do basic maths azimuth and elevation angle. it can be done with a simple hand calculator.....but even then, Nigerian Bofors and Palmaria have their own inbuilt fire control computers.

Nigerian artillery is not guided by shouting orders, we have many drones, ground radars, and telescopic mast battlefield surveillance TV camera.

Yes Nigeria has the best equipped infantry in black Africa today....including our air mobile infantry flying on the wings of army aviation.

Culture evolves and should change with modern times.Stop making excuses for repressive anti gay laws that has no place in a free modern society where human rights and the right to live free should take precedence over culture. What does gay rights have to do with a nations sovereignty. Stop your excuses.
There are no "repressive" or "archaic" laws in the Nigerian constitution, the constitution is always revised and amended every ten years. The matter of gay law is deeply laden with cultural and religious undertone, lawmakers cannot make laws that will cause majority of the populace to revolt against the constitution,if the majority want a constitutional ammendment, they will clamour for it.Nigeria always consider cultural values in implementing seemingly alien concepts,in modern society, democracy is the voice of the majority.
As for women participation in government, lol, former finance minister, aviation minister, petroleum minister etc and 26 senators were women.

lol,you bring a source from an international armchair media group that hasnt even stepped foot into Borno state?,are our local and international media orgarnizations{ChannelsTV} complaining?,journalist right groups have accused the US government{of all governments!} of restricting media access to vital information; is the US an oppressive society? - no matter the degree of media freedom dished out in any nation, greedy journalists are never satisfied
In Nigeria, the media is enjoying an almost god-like reputation; recently, column journalists and newswriters took to sarcastically referring to PMB as "baba go slow",no one reacted, infact PMB found it quite amusing.
During the regime of GEJ,it was so bad even liberal western countries would have clamped down on it
Excuses excuses but hey I expected nothing less from you this is what you do. Did you forget you also arrested a journalist last year or should I remind you with another source.

Anyway does the name Donu Kogbara ring a bell.

I'm not here to dispute your claims of nigeria not being a true democracy in fact I'm quite relieved you are, otherwise your military would've gotten away with even more atrocities with impunity and more f@ucktards like you would've been running all over SA. tongue

You don't have a secure net centric coms system or dedicated data link used by your infantry what will you do in a highly EW threat environment.

You also don't have mobile radar warning systems nor do you have modern anti air missiles to engage low flying aerial threats in your infantry.

Abuja don't need to stop them as long as Port harcourt, Delta, or Lagos can stop them. And the Baylesa militant are enough for your navy.

It's even more visible from aircraft...the whole submarine shape is visually clear, and the snorkel is pouring out heavy diesel engine heat attracting airborne FLIR while the sub snorkel and sub radars are reflecting clearly on airborne radar screen from many kilometers away.
I beg to differ chief. How big will the radius of the radar be?

Running over SA?,ha,you wish!....
when even big multinationals like MTN and tata are considering running out of SA,why will nigerians be running over SA like an european migrant crisis?.
The journalist arrested last year was an aljazeera journalist who ventured into a cordoned-off warzone without proper military permit and escort, his action was against standard international best practice and professional ethics.
If BH had captured or hurt him,the whole world would have cried foul.

That Zulu(dictatorzar ) is intellectually crippled. He can't even read and understand a written piece to save his confused life.

He also can't hold an intellectual discuss without lying and posting a wrong source.

Nigerian infantry has mobile telescopic battlefield surveillance TV cameras that give real time live videos of the battle field, it is better than SANDF mobile infantry radar that is just showing dots and lines like a maths graph paper on a screen that will not tell you if the object is blue or red.

Shut the f.uck up fool.

Your military and its denial of human rights abuses is a everywhere to a point where you've been denied access to western weapon systems. Human rights is an integral part of military, because military doctrine will determine how the world and communities sees you. Nigeria's incompetent illiterate military is a example how a military should never treat its citizens.

Big lie from fake air force officer !

Radar will detect a submarine snorkel, and worse for the submarine if it also raises it's own radar and periscope at the same time.

https://www.quora.com/Can-radar-detect-a-submarines-snorkel-or-Periscope

Also, Nigerian navy has total coverage of Nigerian coastline with 50 km range TV Cameras, we also have the new Israeli Falcon Eye 24 hour high power ocean surveillance sophisticated systems covering the entire Nigerian EEZ up to deep inside Gulf Of Guinea.

No submarine can hide in Nigerian waters unless a super power class Nuclear power engine submarine, which South Africa will never have.

No submarine can hid?

South African infantry are primarily motorized - hence why we have superior mobility to you

We have many ways of detecting targets that you dont, and most importantly: WE HAVE A DATALINK THAT INSTANTLY SENDS INFO ALLLOWING US TO HIT MOVING TARGETS

You have no data-link for instant data transfer

1. Your Rolands are expired
1a. Soon Uhmkonto will be in service
1b. You will have to fly low to deploy bombs since you only have 2 jets capable of deploying JDAMS

2. You need to be educated about our surveilance again. And yes, Ground Radar + IMPI Bluefor trackers + CHAKA battlemanagement means we will know exactly what we are detecting

3. Infantry are datalink intergrated

4. Poaching is not SANDF buisness

Bwahahahaha… that would be really stupidd flying one plane ahead of another. Why not apart from each other to cover wide area? However, I am still asking what range are the radii of your radar? That's one thing that really shows how stupidd a kind of military researcher you are.

Secondly, ATR-42 surface search radar is 330 km, which is mounted on its belly. Do you know how difficult it is to track surface object especially snorkeling subs using search radar. As I told you before, subs can detect any radar before they can actually be detected while snorkelling especially when aircraft radar is used. The aircraft will then have to rely mostly on its visual sensors. In fact, in modern days aircrafts rely mostly on its visual sensors to detect snorkelling subs due to many things that obstruct the radar on sea surface in the case of detecting a snorkeling subs. It is really not an easy task at all. I tested you on the basis of your knowledge and ultimately found out that you are nothing other than just a fake military researcher.
