DictatorZAR:you think that its easy to fight piracy? look at somalia, the whole world is sending warships to her shores yet piracy is still abundant. piracy is like terrorism... pirates mingle with legitimate ship owners. pirates uses small wooden boats which is hard to detect with radar. yet Nigeria fight piracy alone in all the gulf of guinea still we don't complain. we dominate our territory. |

DictatorZAR:Why do you like posting rubbish. At first you said your Frigates radar will cover our EEZ 100km away, and you are now saying it's just 180km radar. Do you guy have problems with conversion? Type 347 CIWS fire control radar is not used on P18N. SR60 is the same as type 360 radar. Which is what is used on our OPV. Our OPV Sensors include: - TR47 Tracking Radar - SR60 Surveillance Radar - Navigation radar (of chinese origin) - PJ46 Decoy launchers - 2x communication antennas under radomes - UHF/VHF radios Who says we only have 2 F7? Your subs are fvcking old technology. Can you tell me what your submarine have that makes them different from the 1s produced in 1970s? You guys are really confused. |

lionel4power:Torpedo is guided and even if it loses the track it will still recover it and go straight to where it had been sent. |

lionel4power:Now you come up with excuses when we expose your incompetence. What are your shaldags and small patrol boats for. You have a small 800km caostline compared to Somalia which has Africa's Longest coastline. Yet you can't even control and dominate that meagre small coast of yours, with all your pathetic shaldags. Ghana and your other neighbours are also contributing to secure the west african coast fool don't think try and act like big brother now. Stop getting drunk on Palm wine in the evening. The Ghana Navy is saving your @Asses everyday from maritime collapse you goat. Now find a new excuse ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://mobile.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN0KR0VD20150118 Case Closed |

DictatorZAR:Let me Educate you you dummy. A F16 block 52 is not the same technology as the tycoon no matter the upgrade. And a tycoon is not the same technology as F22 no matter the upgrade. You masters only repacked 1970 technology for you with little modification and that doesn't make yours modern. The fact remains that your type 209 subs are 1969+ technology. They still cover the same distance submerged. They cover the same 11000nmi They have the same speed. Same endurance limit. Carry same torpedoes. Every other thing is the same you slave. How will you question there authority if they tell you your subs are the best in the world. Fools |
| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 9:10pm On Sep 21, 2015 |
iblawi:The South African and Egyptian type 209 use modern technology. The name might be from ages ago but it utilises new tech. Just because a certain model of Mercedes was designed in 1960 it does not mean that it did not evolve and improve over time. http://www.hellas.org/military/navy/ |

iblawi:Go read up on your SR60 aka Type360/S-3 radar with its 10km altitude range. We use the 209/1400Mod Submarine not the old 209/11 00 you referring to, its not the same you fool. |
| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by lionel4power(m): 9:23pm On Sep 21, 2015 |
FighterPilot:when a torpedo lose track its off the attack... stop saying bullsh1t... so a torpedo will lose track from maximum range then turn around to attack again? stup1d f00l where will it get its fuel from or it will developed gills and start breathing. your stupidity is an insult to your race.. |

| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 9:24pm On Sep 21, 2015 |
iblawi:Nope thats not the case with type 209 read what they say. http://www.militaryfactory.com/ships/detail.asp?ship_id=Type-209 Operators of the Type 209-class went on to include Argentina, Brazil. Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Greece, India, Indonesia, Peru, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, and Venezuela. The first boats were commissioned in 1971 and many went on to see refit and modernization for threats of the new century. The largest operator became Turkey with fourteen total boats - the most recent of these coming into service during 2007 (the "Birinci Inonu" . |

| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 9:30pm On Sep 21, 2015 |
lionel4power:Relevant. E-class Mercedes of 1960 is not in the same class as E-class Mercedes 2015. Yet they both share the same name but different years. |
| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Nobody: 9:30pm On Sep 21, 2015 |
iblawi:Simple answer me this. What's the difference between the old 209/1100, 209/1200,209/1300, 209/1400 and the 209/1400MOD |

DictatorZAR:I asked for range not altitude dummy. Let me give you an example https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_364_Radar You will see range as 300km and altitude is 8000m =8km. Compare it to your MRR-3D NG Surveillance radar on valour Class which only covers 180km. Do you guy learn anything in South Africa. |

US reviewing contigency plans for possible war with Russia . . http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2015/09/20/429975/US-contigency-plans-Russia . hehehehehehe....while NATO-Russia nuclear war is absolutely unfeasible, proxy conventional war in syria is brewing as we speak..hehe..I love international politics. Russia wants to tackle the US military on foreign soil?,tut tut,bad idea mr putin,as much as i love you for being an arnold schwazzneggar type strong-man,you simply do not have clever foreign policy implementation. Does russia want to be thrashed out of syria like its previous comic display of military tomfoolery in afghanistan?,yeah, russia wants to fight the US with its new armata toys, splendid!,i guess when they start "breaking down" in the middle of battle, the battle-ready abrams are going to wait for technical teams to rush down and kickstart their rusty turbines!. Mr Putin,it is better to sit down and talk with your US counter-part,do not let this lead to a war. wetin concern me sef. |

FighterPilot:E-class Mercedes of 1960 is not of the same shape and size with that of 2015. They don't use the same engine. They don't run the same speed. They don't move the same distance. Technology is completely different. Every single thing that makes the car is different. The technology is the key difference. |
| Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by FighterPilot(m): 10:29pm On Sep 21, 2015 |
iblawi:So is type 209. It has different sizes, engines and technologies according to the years they were produced. However, knowing that subs are not like cars have to maintain certain shape to enable it to slide smoothly underwater in deep sees. |

US never expected russia to ever deploy its forces outside its territory after the fall of the soviet union,Russia military intervention in syria is coming as a surprise . . http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2015/09/21/430085/US-Syria-strategy-Daesh-ISIL-Takfiri-Russia-Bashar-alAssad . Yeah,Obama has been a short-sighted leader so far, especially in terms of recent US foreign policy implementation. Why the hell would any sane country waste $500 million of taxpayers' money on training a meagre 50 fighters to fight a terrorist group as big and powerful as ISIS?,furthermore, out of the 50,only 5 are now remaining,$500 million bucks gone like POOOF!....lord!,what sort of mor0ns run the US?,and they say african leaders are clueless, obama should be smacked on the head till he sees sense!. If care is not taken,China and even Russia will eventually grow to match or surpass the US in terms of diplomatic clout and economic projection, which wouldn't be a bad thing anyway, especially for Africa. |

FighterPilot:The case is different for your subs where Almost every thing is the same except for minor upgrade. So your subs are old technology and uses same parts with the old 1971 subs. Get the difference clear my dear. We have Mercedes Benz E 350 2015 model AND E 350 2000 model. But if it's still confusing to you dull brain I will use software as an example. A software version is different from release. Blackberry OS 6.1.1 is different from BlackBerry OS 6.2.3 but BlackBerry OS 10 is a complete technology on his own. We will now have BlackBerry OS 10.1. 1 or BlackBerry OS 10.2.1. Same thing with you subs. The predecessor is type 206. Your sub is type 209 And is successor is type 214, all from the same manufacturer. You guys need to thank me for this free education. |

Israel seeks to avoid clashes with Russia in the middle-east . . http://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2015/09/21/430124/Israel-Syria-Netanyahu-Putin . Good!,at least netanyahu still has his wits. Russia is acting in its own interest by intervening in Syria, and there is nothing Israel can do about it except to ensure coordinate level of cooperation with Russia, and vice versa. Russian presence in Syria will shoot down the Europe-Saudi Arabian oil pipeline venture by strengthening Assad, which would of course prevent syria being used as a conduit.Israel stands to benefit by remaining reasonably neutral or at least limit its actions to mere noise making. Of course, that is if Russia is willing to negotiate; if not,Israel has the capability to frustrate both Russia and Assad. |

CIA revolts against Obama, vows to assist Russia defeat ISIS/ISIL . . http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index1914.htm . I guess you can call this an "intelligence coup" in the US of all places. But,is it really possible for the CIA to bypass the congress, and directly feed Russia with classified military intelligence?,nope,i dont think so. Even with intelligence, can Russia really act decisively and probably risk escalating tensions with the US? The US remains the sole military superpower,70% of its nuclear arsenal is combat ready and accessible; moreover, the US can deploy its nuclear arsenal using extra-modern medium and tactical capsules, while Russia is still thinking of lobbing its largely inaccessible warheads using crude WWII technology and obsolete strategic bombers, like a kid using catapult to fling pebbles. Russia is accusing the US of failing to target known terrorist locations in syria,my question is; why not provide Assad with the necessary intel to target the mysterious locations itself?. |
