Favour is something requested. Ndiigbo did not ask for any appointment.

You didnt just ask for it, you were begging for it and wailing all over the place that PMB is marginalizing you guys. Dont you remember?

This igboes sef. One minute you'd complain about being sidelined, next minute you'd puff up with fake pride and claim you didnt ask for it.

We're trying to employ more of you so that there'd be less igboe crime and consequently less soiling of the Nigerian passport.

Igbos are not the smartest.

If you were the smartest, you won't continue traveling to Asia with drugs in your underwear.

If Igbos were the smartest, they wouldn't be Nigeria's 10th citizen.

If Igbos were the smartest, they'd show up on forbes list.

Igbos are greedy and tribalists. When will y'all employ non-igbos in your cabinet?

If El-Rufai of Kaduna state can employ two Yorubas, Lagos state can employ Igbos, then Igbos should employ non-igbos.

keep waiting.

Typically your type. Empty vessel. All noise no substance.

By the way, thought your so called business outlets will be in the East?

What is the essence of bringing in the appointee's tribe?

Aren't we 'one Nigeria' again?

You see ,there is a problem in this country and it's called 'Tribalism' and you're all involved.

He is a Nigerian until stated otherwise and no favor should be returned because no favor was given in the first place. You rightly said that it will improve national unity and cohesion thereby collapsing tribal boundaries then I would agree.
Point of correction, I stated a "region" and not "tribe". I abhor tribalism way more than you can imagine and nothing pleases me like gestures such as this that tend to foster unity, pulling down ethnic, regional and religious prejudices that seem to abound in our country today.

If you say it wasn't a "favour", I wouldn't disagree with you- indeed we are one and anyone should be able to rise to whatever level they desire wherever- one's tribe and religion shouldn't be a prerequisite to attain such heights- that is speaking in ideal terms. We aren't there yet, but with acts like this here and there, it is our utmost hope and desire that we attain such levels of civilisation sooner than later.

You can imagine what some of these so called brothers of yours are spewing simply because of this innocent statement I made. How can you see such people as people prepared to accept or uphold such ideals as yours (if I were to take you for your words). I know there are very good Igbos out there, majority of them I wanna believe are. But just like Islamic terrorist, it happens that the bad eggs amongst you guys are the ones whose voices are heard the most, therefore making the entire tribe appear reprehensible.

God help us.

Hmmm you said lagos is no man's land, pls i'll need you to check your map very well and locate on it which region lagos is located. Have said it several times that most igbos are hypocrites and biased in every of there view and that's why till eternity will never have the chance to rule this country. So many times I wondered how this mediocre people would have made it in life if not because so many of them come to lagos. They claim they own properties in lagos with which money if not the drug money that they made through fraudulent act. Until you people change your perceptions on your reasoning you'll forever remain backward and keeps running to lagos before you can make it, and if you people continue to be an ingrate we won't send you back to your underdeveloped state but rather throw you all into the lagoon.

LMAO grin

I am so happy APC woke up and didn't give them any appointments in Lagos this time. Bunch of ingrates, they can only win elections in areas were they pack themselves like sardines grin 12 can live in one bedroom but as we saw with last elections it still doesn't amount to anything .

They were threatened with the Lagoon and promised to ensure Jimi won but the losers couldn't do it grin

Well, tribal bigots cuts across all walks of life and I understood your frustration and sometimes we all misfire due to varying emotional burden and the state of the mind because I have seen a thread where you called out the Niger Delta people in a very derogatory manner which I'm not willing to delve into right now and I knew how I felt as a Niger Delta person.

We should spend more time and see how we can move beyond regional and tribal brouhaha as this would only lead to a bigger problem in the future and such problems limits people's ability to grow economically as a country which is the bedrock of every society.

Once again it was a nice gesture and we wish to see our leaders do more of this to send a message to the future generations that we can be united and achieve whatever we want as one undivided people.
