Those are the Northern military, they are vengeful and menacing for what the Boko boys did to them in the recent years.

However, I think this act is barbaric and unprofessional.

There's no northern military in nigeria or does the north fall under a separate FG. This is the very reason boko haram is still active and can still recruit youths into there ranks.

I doubt if you're a Nigerian, it seems you're oblivion of the fact that we are made up of several tribes and ethnic with absolute non-corresponding traits.

The Northerners are mostly uneducated, including their military; all they value is their religion and their rulers order. However, the Northern military are the one facing Boko Haram because it is an internal insurgency from their region.
The professional Nigerian military and our intelligence unit are mostly from the southern part, and they are law abiding.

I am throwing a gauntlet to the Nigerians to prove why they think they are better developed in military and economic terms. By showing overview of their infrastructure, factory, manufacturing, housing delivery, health, education, police prowess, military development, technological advancement etc.

No I'm not nigerian and I'm truly grateful for that.

Your country is a federation of states each one having relative autonomy over the territory it governs correct. What corresponding traits are you referring to boko haram is not just a northern problem its a nigerian and west african regional problem. There's no thing as northern military under the federal nigerian laws. Do you even know what you talking about here, I doubt ithuh.

The "professional nigerian military" is made up of all states/regions fact. Stop making excuses for your country's incompetence and military chiefs lack of oversight and discipline and general lack of a human rights culture within your largely illiterate military as a hole.

Fool. "Professional" US army did worse in Iraq and Afghanistan.

However, that's a chopped off head of a boko strongman which we view with delight here.

I can understand how this will pain south Africans. Y'all love dem boko boys already

@patches. As the official wester d1ck eater on this thread, I'll like to hear your defense for their failed policies in the war against ISIL.

1) US trained rebels laying down their arms and donating them to al nustra for safe passage.

2) US and EU now shifting towards Russia and Iran (that they vowed never to work with) to help in the fight.

3) ISIL still holding large territories after thousands of air strikes.

The list is endless.

- Only 4 US trained "moderate" rebels are still in the fight against Nusra front and ISIL.

* This is another clear evidence of the "sh*tiness" of US military training.

- Fact, NATO, especially the U.S and UK can't thank their stars more for Vlad's intervention in Syria.

- Over 25,000 air strikes in Syria and Iraq proves my point, air strikes alone are largely ineffective in COIN, especially when those strikes are coming from front-line fighter jets instead of COIN based and CAS aircrafts.

* In other news,

The anti-Houthi coalition who invaded Yemen are having themselves invaded by the Houthis they are supposed to be invading.

True that.

And I also believe Europe is paying the price for contributing in the Syrian crisis with the refugee crisis situation.

Now they are also being invaded by the islamic world (covertly grin). It's just a matter of time before bombs start going off.

The Saudis are the biggest disgrace of modern military. With all the weapons at their disposal.

No wonder they're scared of Iran grin

- Go to some of their forums, see everyday Europeans panicking and virtually sh*tting in their pants over the refugee crisis.

-Europe simply does not have an independent foreign policy, they are only interested in blindly following the U.S. They conveniently forget that the U.S is protected on both sides by 2 large bodies of waters, while they, have a border with mideast countries.. "I'm yet to see the refugee daring enough to swim the Atlantic to New-York, or the Pacific to Los-Angeles".

- The Saudis are all Gucci and no Brains. Saudi Arabia is scared sh*tless of Iran, this is a fact!

I mean look at all that gear......... All of the virtually wasted, abandoned. I mean, losses are bound to happen, abandonment of equipment is also bound to happen in any conflict, however it is un-acceptable if it is in the scale we are seeing in Yemen and Saudi-Arabia.

SA has a very modern force, properly funded and properly equipped.

That is indeed in every sense the cruelty of the worst order. It is truly undefined in modern military and such an act can only be meted out by savage unprofesional army that can only be defined along rebels.

Amended it, professional armies commit atrocities, that includes the United States which is considered the most professional of all. The real question is why anyone thought it was wise to photograph and then post it on the internet, professional militaries atleast have the sense to try to cover up their atrocities.

If the atrocities are not broadcast to the world, how come you know about them? Clearly, you are talking rubbish and sucking things out of your thumb. You could always prove me wrong by posting a picture of a US soldier posing with the head of an enemy soldier, after having cut it off.

Stop foaming in the mouth. Atrocities are committed in war. Apartheid army special police units hunting down black fighters committed same atrocities.

Americans have also committed worse atrocities in their various wars in the mideast, we've also seen same in the conflict in eastern Ukraine.

I'm not condoning it, however fact is, these isolated incidents aren't a Nigerian military policy.

While Bulgaria closed its airspace
to Russian transport planes headed to Syria at the request of
the United States, Iraq has allowed the Russian flights to use
its airspace.

Do not ever compare a former white neo-nazi anti african regime to a modern free liberal constitutionally driven society SA is now. This is not the 1980's we live in nor is it the days of Abacha or any other former dictators running modern 2015 africa.

Stop looking for excuses for blatant satanic behaviour by your "supposed best educated military in sub sahara".

Did Americans kill there own militants by such cruelty inside American borders NO. I don't see Ukrainians on both sides beheading each other and laughing while posting pics on social media.

Yes I agree with you that its not your entire military that's involved in these acts but the fact remains this is not the first of such reports. This has been going on since the start of the anti boko haram campaign and this kind of acts together with other human rights atrocities is exactly what fuels people to join boko haram. What do you think the reaction will be amongst other youths who knew him and had no intention of becoming a militant?.

Start taking responsibility for such acts. This is why nobody is keen on selling arms to you.

Save that free liberal constitutional nonsense you are yapping for illiterate South-Africans.

- It is South-Africa that hacked 34 striking miners to death in full view of news cameras not Nigeria. No Police officer has been charged or jailed for killing miners armed with sticks.

If this isn't "satanic behaviour", I don't know what is.

At the bolded, do you have any evidence that supports your claim that nobody is keen on selling us arms?

Mumu. Your comment in red proves how you saffers like to delude yourselves with irrelevant and nonsense mentality.

When did beheading non Americans become a norm in American military? Or beheading a foreign enemy combatant/militant?

Are you saying US soldiers were right? Because it's the US? Gosh!!!

Secondly, you should visit Nigerian forums and see the positive responses this pic has gotten.

By the way you the ignorant Soweto mumu, BH forcefully recruit most of it's members and the guy in the pic may not be Nigerian as foreigners also hold ranks in the group.

Sit your ignorant self down and think before ranting nonsensically.

It is indeed disturbing that a few misguided individuals in the army would relish in such a horrific endeavor.
But,of course, these guys could be boko haram members masquerading as army personnels in order to tarnish the impeccable image of our proffessional military.
We simply do not have solid evidence to back these pictures, and therefore we cannot jump into any educated conclusion.

These same dunderheads supported their police after the summary execution of 30 protesting miners.

They'll support US troops beheading terrorists and pissing on their corpses. And the rant at any slight blunder of Nigerian security forces.

Those guys are Nigerian army and the head they are holding was a BH strongman that has killed, raped and abducted children.
