I did complain of ticks, which was a non stop battle for me and her until her death. cant really say if its the ticks that killed her, she was on tick powder regularly and tick injections (These ticks are die hard though, even after fumigating the compound twice and all the medications), i swore never to own a hairy dog again! On the day she died i fed her and we played in the morning before going to work, only for me to return to her lifeless body under a tree with blood stained water from her mouth.

Didn't bother calling a vet, just buried her in the bushes. She was a great and fearless guardian, kept my family safe. This Rottweiler better live up to expectations. Cute pup you have there, Black GSD's are quite rare.

Eeeyah, doh, sowie. also had same problem, ticks are a die hard problem, my advice would have been if u had not goten dis dog yet, call a fumigation expert at dis point and fumigate d compound thoroughly with hard chemicals and den about two weeks later, run anoda fumigation because of d eggs dt may have hatched during dose 2 weeks, me my place in lagos, d tick infestation was too much dt my dogs were not growing as dey oaught to, wen people see one of my dog in particular, dem go dey ask ïs he sick?"so annoying wen i knew hw much i was trying, i did fumigation ooo bt i eventually relocated. now my dog currently with me is growing well and very big with dsame amount of care i was giving my oda dogs as at den. dont play with ticks, dey would teach u a lesson u will never forget, dem no get conscience oooo, dog go dey lean dey go, dem go still dey suck, wen dem suck reach one syd dem go fall off con lay eggs till dem small bk, den dem go climb again. those eggs wen dem lay go hatch again, dem fit hatch reach 1milion(not sure but read dey lay as much as fishes) at once, although not all will survive but enough would survive to cause damage to ur dog, and dem no dey quick die, dem can sabi adapt. i could remember some years bk i fumigated my compond, i was careless and two of my dogs licked d chemical, one died, d oda survived, and d worse part was dat d ticks i was trying to kill still dey waka like boss d nxt day like say nothing happened
