Standard Chartered owns majority shares of the company with some small local investments. The company thus is owned by foreigners in Nigeria.

Nigerian canmaker,GZ Industries Ltd.,takes over South Africa's canmaking industry!!

http://businessdayonline.com/2015/09/nigerian-canmaker-enters-s-africa/
.
Nigeria's GZI invests R1 billion rands into South Africa's canmaking industry, targets production of 1.2 billion cans annually.
Time for Nampak to packs its bag!!..hehehehehe....see how Nigerian multinationals are colonizing African economies left and right.
Go read your article again and come back when you can be more sincere and truthful.

Do you know the difference between a partnership and a takeover. Why didn't you quote the article where it says that Nampak Africa's largest can maker is expanding to Nigeria and Ethiopia.

We getting tired of this shiiit frankly I don't care if african companies start investing on the continent atleast the money stays within africa and not exported to Europe/US/Asia.

Now grow up boy.

I don't see why this debate is still on, nigeria is not a country, and if it were it wouldn't be an independent one. the west has its puppet as nigeria's prsident, a senile old dictator who is running after shadows and confides mostly in western heads of state or his tribes men. in nigeria qualifications mean nothing in the civil service, it is all about tribe affiliation.

the most brilliant africans come from nigeria, but in nigeria they can't get employment, that is why you find a lot of them in western institutions where their qualifications mean something

Nigeria has the biggest concentration of smart people in africa, but those smart people are totally marginalised and are not trusted by the mass of tribalists, a man of "integrity" is prefered, in this case "integrity" means illiterate.

That's how you are programmed to think from school. You should have asked your teacher a simple question that what is it that is so unique that Nigerians ever invented so as to dominate that rest of Africa and consequently prove the fact the only smartest people are concentrated in Nigeria?
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Nobody: 3:28pm On Sep 30, 2015
The african problem which is on steroids in nigeria is the "pulldown factor". When africans see other africans atteigning a level of archievement they can not even dream of atteigning, they try to pull that fellow down. Because the mentality is: "only white people should be above me". Some people get hacked to death because they have committed the crime of archieving too much (that is most examplified by south african anti-african killings)

I don't intend to have a debate with you, neither do I intend to follow your own rules. But I would like to inform you that I never said "only smartest people are concentrated in Nigeria". Have a nice day.

The words are simple. Don't invite foreign investors into your indigenous business, else they will steal your business and you will remain their slave forever.

Whites in SA are not foreigners. They are proudly South African citizens.

Killed by beheading isn't? The man was killed in an islamic terrorist execution style. How will the world know if he was guilty and only if his killing has been justified on black magic.
Who cares about the world?
What did the world do to help Nigeria when she was in need of arms?
The world should go die. Nigerian don't care about the world cos we do our things our own way. We are loyal to nobody and we have no masters.

Has anyone ever stopped to think that Boko Haram has less to do with Jihad and more to do with the Hausa-Fulani Faction loosing power to the Ijaw before they felt their term was through (3 years instead of cool and that the decline of Boko Haram has more to do with the fact that a Hausa-Fulani faction leader is in power than anything else?

Especially since you consider that Goodluck was only in office because of militant action.

Explains why religiously moderate Officers in the Army (who are mainly Hausa-Fulani) supporting Boko in the early days?

Heavy shit, but something to think about

@Henry120
It is alright for you to switch topics and context when Nigerians empty your fact-reservoir, but when others do it , it becomes trolling and derailment.

Now that boko haram are being smoked out like animals you're playing the ethnicity card.

You mixed breed of drap primates and hungry sub-humanoids.

Bokoharam is facing the full wrath of the Nigerian army and they actually intesified their efforts during PMB administration despite him being from the north.

While the N.A is on the verge of defeating a 21st century insurgency with alignment to ISIL, you should be adjusting to life as a faded star with a borrowed time and dime-lit glory so shortlived it never even began.

When the SANDF have a clear unilateral victory militarily and your South Africa changes incompetent, tribalistic and racist ANC then we can listen to you.

Leslie is eager to match your broken posterior fact for fact, should you tarry on this part

Buhari is heading for something, The guy has plans that is not clear to everyone yet. You know how all this generals reason na, Obasanjo is a good example. They claim to be moving left while they are actually moving right. Nigeria is a very complex nation.
Well,Buhari looks like he knows what he is doing. The man is very intelligent.
Though,I particularly disagree with him on the palestinian issue.
.
Some sources who tuned on to silverbird tv this morning, reported that during an interview sesion, the nigerian army spokeperson condemned social media outlets(they said he specifically mentioned nairaland) for posting unauthentic pictures of a nigerian soldier holding the head of a high ranking BH member.
I guess we should be very cautious in endorsing pictures regarding the ongoing military COIN engagement from unverified sources.
That picture is a threat to our national security.
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Nobody: 4:23pm On Sep 30, 2015
I find this whole discussion silly, and it is even more silly that it has lasted all these years. I decided a while ago to stop wasting my time by spending it on the social media. Besides the social media has a big depressing factor because it is populated by cyberbullies and trolls. The only reason I am here today is that I have a little bit of fever and therefor I couldn't go to the university or the library. So while I am here let me try and actually help people. First of all, all your countries are crappy, so stop this illogical debate about which one is less crappy. None of your countries deserve to be called a country.
But as individuals we all deserve respect. My solution to africa would be desintegration allong pre-colonial lines and then perharps treaties could be made among the precolonial nations in order to make bigger nations or empires. As they are, your countries were engineered to keep you backward while some people in europe decide your future and spend your money.
