I remember watching that BBC documentary on MC Oluomo.
Mamok led the BBC crew around. He really took great pride in his thug life, extortion from shop owners and poor old women trading by the roadside.

This guy was a notorious cultist when I was in ogun poly back in the mid 90s. We all kept a wide berth from him whenever we saw him coming to our department because he used to obtain guys or try and cajole them to join his group(the yeye eiye frat). He tried unsuccessfully to make my friends and I join the Eiye fraternity but we were club boys who just wanted to get an education, get good grades and host the best parties on campus but he felt we would have been better as cultists just like him.
I remember back then that he was quite eloquent for an Eiye boy but was still rough i.e the usual razz,agbero manners. That explains why he would eventually be a hitman/political thug after graduating from ojere. I'm not sure he even graduated sef. His fellow cultists like Chucky, Hakeem and co ended up starting all over again in Ibadan Poly
That guy has been killing for years. He got what he deserved.
Why are people mourning the bastard? Whoever killed him did humanity a big favour

It's one of my favourite documentaries about Lagos of all time. "Law and Disorder in Lagos" by Louis Theroux. I have watched it several times.

When this story broke I just knew I had seen the face somewhere. He (Mamok) featured prominently in the documentary. He spoke reasonably eloquently. During the 'interview' of MC Oluomo, he answered questions on his behalf. The MC Oluomo couldn't even express himself properly (expected of an Agbero anyway cheesy

). Even Louis felt it was a awkward that Mamok had to answer questions on his behalf.

At the 55:30 mark, Louis asked him if he wasn't bothered about the violence going in the background of their activities as extortion racketeers. Well that violence ultimately consumed him.

Watching Mammok on the Louis Theroux BBC show,Law and disorder in Lagos yesterday, http://www.naijaqueenolofofo.com/2015/10/how-mammok-kunle-mamoworamc-oluomo.html (you can see that show at this link) i concluded it was inevitable that Mammok Kunle Mamowora was going to meet his death sooner or later.I am not justifying Mammok's death or the way he was brutally murdered,NO! Far from it,Mammok, the Mc Oluomo chief security officer,was killed so callously that it makes me sick! But these men live in that world.Do you honestly think Mammok has not directly or indirectly been involved in another man's death over the years? This things always catches up with these men,its a world they live in.Mammok must have been protected by his goonies day in day out,but just like the cultists do,these men are patient and determined men,they stalk their men and wait and wait and wait..and then one day,when he is off guard and there is no security in sight,they strike like a thief in the night! It is sad that such an eloquent man and intelligent young guy has met his death in such a cold brutal form.I just hope this is where it ends and does not start up another long line of murdered men.Mc Oluomo has already asked for peace and calm and urging people to let the police do their work.
